Alan has dedicated his entire career to the finance industry. He began in the retail segment of the Bank of Montreal before transitioning to BMO InvestorLine, BMO’s self-directed investment division. Observing the challenges faced by clients managing their own investments, Alan was motivated to pursue a career in a full-service brokerage, aiming to assist clients lacking the expertise or time to handle their finances.
He briefly left BMO to join another brokerage, where he concurrently serviced three different teams with diverse client bases and management styles. This experience enriched his knowledge and skills, paving the way for his return to BMO Nesbitt Burns under the Mah Investment Group. Here, Alan continues to advance his career as an Investment Associate.
Alan excels in portfolio construction and financial planning, providing clients with peace of mind and clear goals to achieve. “Everyone says they want to retire comfortably, but what does that actually mean? What are your goals, hopes, and dreams?” Alan asks. “Well, I’m here to listen and put them on paper for you. Let’s work together to make them a reality.”
Outside of his professional life, Alan enjoys playing golf and tennis. He is also an avid competitive foosball player, having toured across multiple US cities to compete in international championships, where he has consistently placed well.
