Gérald Perron, founder of Groupe Perron Sénécal, has been providing guidance to clients for over 38 years as a portfolio manager and financial planner. Gerald’s extensive experience has endowed him with invaluable knowledge, which he draws upon to help his clients achieve their personal and financial goals.
His exceptional talent, work and leadership have earned him the coveted title of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (CICF). Over the course of his successful career, he has helped numerous individuals and families stay on course as they navigate life’s major milestones. He knows the importance of aligning financial objectives with personal goals and excels at making it happen.
When asked to summarize his work in a few words, Gérald puts it this way: “Our role is to help you avoid pitfalls and safeguard the capital you plan to take out of your business. ”
A husband and father, Gérald is originally from Bury in the Eastern Townships, where he grew up on a dairy farm. When not working in the city, he loves to be at home in the Townships, where he lends his wife a hand with their 200-head alpaca farm. Gérald has always been very actively involved in charitable and philanthropic causes, especially in the areas of child welfare and mental health.
Jonathan joined the team after graduating from HEC in 2001 and became a partner in 2010.

Jonathan knows how to listen and to analyze and understand the needs of his clients in order to provide them with top quality service and solutions expressly tailored to their circumstances. He comes from an entrepreneurial background and is proud to share his talent with entrepreneurs like himself.
A Montreal native, Jonathan is married with three children. He devotes his free time to outdoor and sports activities with his family, winter and summer alike. He is also closely involved in organizing Groupe Perron Sénécal’s charitable events.
Oliver is responsible for all aspects of client servicing and portfolio management. He has more than fifteen years of work experience acquired across leading financial institutions. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from HEC Montréal. He holds the Certified Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Oliver is dedicated to his community through his participation as a volunteer at the “REA Foundation”. He currently holds the position of Treasurer.
Efficient and always devoted to our customers, Caroline takes care of the administration of the accounts. She has over 39 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 36 years with BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Kimberly Chan recently joined the Perron Sénécal Group to enhance the depth and expertise in the financial planning and tax sector. She brings over 15 years of experience in financial services and tax planning. She has managed large client portfolios and developed in-depth expertise in personal and corporate taxation.
She has completed all her courses for her Master’s in Taxation and is currently enrolled to write her thesis. She leverages her strong organizational skills and extensive knowledge of finance and taxation to effectively support the team. She currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and holds the financial planner designation (F. Pl.).
Originally from the beautiful Charlevoix region, she is trilingual in English, French, and Cantonese. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the administrative field, Mélanie Quesnel brings strong expertise in organization, coordination, and client service. Before joining the Perron Sénécal Group, she held various roles such as coordinator, assistant, and internal sales representative, always within sales and administrative teams.
Throughout her career, Mélanie has been actively involved in organizing and coordinating events for clients and employees, including recognition evenings, charitable activities, and facility tours. Known for her team spirit, proactivity, and enthusiasm, she is committed to supporting colleagues and delivering an exceptional client experience. She places great importance on client satisfaction and trust—key values in wealth management.

Jean-Christophe has worked at the Bank of Montreal for nearly 15 years. Having worked in several sectors of the Bank, he was able to develop various skills which will enable him to fulfill his responsibilities.
