Senior Wealth Advisor And Senior Portfolio Manager

As a Senior Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager, I have been dedicated to helping my clients align their life ambitions with financial management for over 25 years. Prior to working at BMO Nesbitt Burns I worked on the institutional bond desk at Wood Gundy. After years of working at the fixed income desk, I joined my family at Nesbitt Thomson Bongard as an investment advisor. My family has been in the Toronto financial industry for over 100 years and I am grateful to have been able to learn about the business from my grandfather and my father. My family history in the business has impressed upon me the value of treating my clients like family, and it has shaped my contemporary approach to financial management.

At the Bongard Wealth Advisory Group, I aim to provide a more personal and customized style of wealth management, tailoring my client’s financial portfolio to their individual needs. I have always approached my business with an emphasis on fostering genuine relationships, leading my team with the aim of helping our clients achieve their personal goals and ambitions in life. I treat all of my clients like family and it fulfills me to be able to offer them financial security and a personal sense of well-being. I have seen firsthand, from years of experience, how good wealth management can help people, and families, achieve their dreams.

Moreover, I am always trying to improve the client experience that my team delivers. On top of my professional experience as a wealth management advisor, I also have a specialization in helping clients through major life transitions. My training in Financial Transition Planning helps me combine the money side of finance with the human side, enabling me to help clients through emotionally exhausting and overwhelming life changes.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, as I am the mother of three boys and two Labradors. In the summers, we try to spend our spare time together up north at our cottage in Pointe au Baril. This community has been a second home for my family, and I find fulfillment volunteering there and giving back. I am currently a board member of the West Parry Sound Hospital Foundation as well as the chair of their Northern Angel Council. I am also actively involved with Camp Kirk, an initiative that helps kids with special needs experience the wonders of summer camp and gives them a chance to build their self-esteem.
