Leading The Rigney Group at BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2012, Jennifer brings decisive leadership and energetic momentum to solving complex financial challenges. Her approach, shaped by a strong work ethic and global perspective inherited from her accomplished mother, combines sophisticated expertise with grounded practicality. Jennifer cultivated her global perspective through extensive international experience. A Dean's List graduate from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Japanese minor, she enhanced her cross-cultural expertise through prestigious programs at Princeton University in Ishikawa and Waseda University in Tokyo. This immersion in Japanese language, culture, and business practices—combined with her fluency in French—brings unique sophistication to her wealth management approach.
Her personal journey as a mother of two young sons with neurodivergent learning styles has deepened her ability to guide clients through life’s pivotal moments with exceptional empathy and understanding. Her husband Anthony is an incredible father with a calm and intuitive presence. His unwavering encouragement has helped shape Jennifer’s grounded approach and she is grateful for the perspective and balance he brings to her professional life. Whether navigating retirement planning, managing wealth transfer, or transitioning through major life changes, Jennifer provides authentic, open-hearted guidance while maintaining the highest standards of professional experience.
Jennifer actively supports various charitable organizations, including Variety Village, Autism Ontario, the Princess Margaret Foundation, and the United Way The Neigbourhood Group (TNG), among others. Her spiritual foundation spans multiple denominations, reflected in her work for religious organizations, where she has developed customized investment policy statements.
Beyond the office, Jennifer maintains an active lifestyle that includes skiing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and summer vacations at her family's campground cottage at Santa's Village in Bracebridge. She stays balanced through yoga, golf, and dance— activities that reflect her belief in maintaining perspective and vitality in both her personal and professional life.
Dani Jajjo, CFP®
Investment Associate and Financial Planner
Dani Jajjo focuses on financial planning, market research, and building long-lasting client relationships. Dani’s interest in finance began at the early age of four when his family moved to Canada and he witnessed his parents facing financial challenges. This sparked his passion for math and business and his life-long journey to build a career helping people achieve financial stability. Dani chooses to work with The Rigney Group because to us money is about much more than figures on a page.
Dani takes a holistic and highly customized approach to understanding our clients’ unique needs and goals. He crafts comprehensive wealth plans that include retirement, tax, and estate planning and performs investment management based on world-class global research. Dani excels at solving complex needs and drawing on the full array of wealth management solutions at his fingertips at BMO Private Wealth.
Dani is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) who holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and Financial planning from Seneca Polytechnic. He has also earned an Advanced Certificate in 3H Financial Planning from FP Canada. Before joining BMO Private Wealth in 2021, Dani previously gathered skills as a Financial Planner at two other major bank-owned financial institutions.
On a personal level, Dani plays soccer, tennis, and golf with the same passion and intensity he applies to serving our clients and developing his career.
Lei Qiao, B.Comm.
Administration Associate
Lei (pronounced Lay) Qiao’s domain on our team is client service, tax reporting, investment implementation and execution, and analytics which draw upon his prowess with statistics. As a keen listener who loves interacting with clients, Lei has incredible insight into people. He manages our administrative hub, welcomes new clients through our onboarding process, opens accounts, and performs transfers and trades, among many other tasks.
Lei earned his Master of Management Analytics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at the University of Alberta’s Smith School of Business. After working as a Tax Reporter at the University of Alberta, he moved to Ontario, where he gathered experience in client service as a Bilingual Investment Representative and Telephone Banking Specialist with another major Canadian bank. Lei joined The Rigney Group at BMO Private Wealth in 2022.
Born in Inner Mongolia, Lei was well prepared for the cold when he immigrated to Edmonton. In his spare time, Lei enjoys bouldering, badminton, cycling – and, unsurprisingly for a former Albertan – snowboarding.
