We are truly grateful for your generous donation to North Shore Hospice and Palliative Care which we have gratefully received through Crowdchange and our Living To Die Well event page. Thank you. Your contribution enables us to enhance and expand support services for patients living with life-limiting illness, their grateful families and our staff.
Thanks to you, we will be able to continue to provide funding for our Every Day Counts Program at Hospice and support palliatove patients and their families with valuable counselling, yoga, music therapy and more. We'll also be able to continue to provide much needed equipment and furniture, like the comfortable reclining chairs for visitors we recently purchased for the 7W palliative unit at Lions Gate Hospital.
We appreciate all our donors whose thoughtful gifts bring extra comfort and care during a time when people need it most. In recognition of your generous gift, it will be our pleasure to include you on our donor wall in the Atrium of the hospital and on a commemorative donor wall in the Hospice.
On behalf of the patients and families who will benefit from your generosity for years to come, we offer you our thanks for helping make every day count. (Summer 2025)

Celebrating Ten Years of Hospice: More than a decade ago our community came together to support the development of the North Shore’s first free-standing hospice. The North Shore Hospice is the first free-standing Hospice for the North Shore. Owned and operated by Vancouver Coastal Health, the Hospice was built and furnished completely by the generous support of the community. Over $8.5 million was raised by Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, North Shore Hospice Society, Family Services of the North Shore and Vancouver Coastal Health to build the Hospice, located at 319 East 14th Street in North Vancouver, BC, which officially opened its doors November 1, 2010.
