The report showed that 53% of the corn is rated good to excellent (unchanged from week). This compares to 52% last year.
Soybeans
The report showed that 86% of the soybeans are dropping leaves by October 2, 2023 (up from 73% last week). This compares to the 5-year average of 77% and 78% as of October 2, 2023.
The report showed that 23% of the soybeans are harvested by October 2, 2023 (up from 12% last week). This compares to the 5-year average of 22% and 20% as of October 2, 2023.
The report showed that 52% of the soybeans are rated good to excellent (up from 50% last week). This compares to 55% last year.
Wheat
The report showed that 40% of the winter wheat is planted by October 2, 2023 (up from 26% last week). The compares to the 5-year average of 43% and 39% last year.
