Step 1: Get To Know You
Discuss your financial and non-financial goals and objectives (ie: retirement, business, family), your risk tolerance, your investing experience and anything else on your mind.

Step 2: Investment Analysis
Drawing upon input from our initial meeting, we compile a personalized recommendation report specific to you and/or your family. This report includes:
Review of current investment strategies, asset allocation, asset mix, and risk tolerance
Discuss proposed investment strategies, asset allocation, asset mix, and risk tolerance (see next slide: Investment Management – Your investment portfolio options)
Analyze the costs involved with your current investments and compare them to our proposed strategy
Book your planning meeting with our CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Michael Amyot
Address any additional questions/concerns that you may have
Step 3: Account Opening and Onboarding
If the decision to move forward is positive, we have you sign account opening forms, transfer forms if required and will discuss Gateway, our online reporting system which can be integrated with your BMO online banking. In addition, we will discuss security measures that we take to ensure your information remains confidential and secure.
Step 4: Personalized Wealth Plan
An important step when working with our clients is the creation and implementation of a personalized wealth plan. You begin by meeting with our CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® who will complete an in-depth discovery meeting to fully understand the details of your unique situation, discussing topics such as personal and business goals, education planning, estate planning, trust planning and tax planning.
When preparing your plan we often request permission to work directly with your other advisors such as your accountant and lawyer when developing and implementing strategies. Lastly we provide you with an actionable list of next steps and we continue working with you and your other advisors to implement these strategies.
As your situtation changes so to should your plan, which is why we try to meet with each client at least annually to fully review and update the plan we have in place.
Step 5: Managing, Monitoring, and Reporting
While we monitor and manage your investment accounts daily, we also meet with you quarterly or semi-annually to review your risk objectives, asset mix and portfolio performance. In addition, we discuss any major life events that may affect how your portfolio is structured or the outcome of your wealth plan.
