As a discretionary portfolio manager Chris spends his time researching and constructing portfolios for both retail and institutional clients. His “client-first” approach in everything he does is what keeps his relationships strong and focused. His continued success in the wealth advisory business has proven itself over the years as Chris now holds the title of Senior Vice President, BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Chris joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2009 with eight years of experience as Vice President of Sales with Clarington Funds. He also spent time working for TD Asset Management as a Vice President. Chris graduated in 1999 with a Business Administration Diploma (major in marketing) and now holds both the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and Discretionary Portfolio Manager designation. In 2021 Chris also became a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), achieving CSI’s highest credential available.
When Chris is not busy researching and managing money, he enjoys spending time with his wife Christine and their young son, Hunter. He also enjoys playing golf at Niakwa and Elmhurst Country Clubs, playing guitar with other musicians and loves to fish at his cabin in Minaki, Ontario.
