Is there a minimum amount that I need before I can become a client?

Yes. Given the needs of our existing clients, were are accepting new clients/families who have accumulated a minimum of $500,000 in investment capital or retirement savings and want to explore a partnership with us.


How do you charge for your services?

We charge via an all-inclusive fee-based structure that covers all of our advice, planning & retirement modeling work, will and estate planning, investment recommendations, transactions and portfolio monitoring.

This compensation model aligns our mutual goal - creating a long-term financial partnership built upon our mutual success and respect for our business relationship.


How often can I expect to hear from you about my investment portfolio?

You can expect regular/personalized updates from me via video meeting, phone and through the year in person. We speak to most of our clients each quarter for a review. You can also connect with me via social channels. We tailor the level of service and contact you would like depending upon your needs and reviews based upon your schedule. We work hard to ensure that you have a personalized experience.


Are you forced to recommend investments that BMO Nesbitt Burns wants you to?

Absolutely not. Nor do we place everyone in a 'model portfolio'. We work with you to help you curate an exceptional portfolio and I only recommend investments that I truly believe will help us accomplish our mutual goal – growing & protecting your savings.


Do you offer other services besides handling my investment portfolio?

Yes. I provide all the services you might expect from a full-service investment professional & BMO Nesbitt Burns including full-scale financial and retirement modeling, as well as advice around tax planning and planning for your Estate post-retirement.
