Based on your unique circumstances, time horizon and risk tolerance, we will help create a customized portfolio to ensure that your investments are properly diversified and positioned to help you achieve your goals. We get to know each client as an individual, and consider important life changes when structuring portfolios:
Are you getting married, receiving an inheritance, or selling a business?
Are there health issues, or a sick parent or child that should be considered?
Are you an incorporated professional?
Are your investment strategies synchronized with your tax strategies?
We offer a host of alternatives:
Managed Portfolio Account
As one of our Managed Portfolio clients, you will enjoy boutique-style wealth management. You will have the peace of mind that comes from having a direct connection to the person making investment decisions in your own portfolio. It is this personal connection that makes this Portfolio Management unique. By having your own Portfolio Manager, you will have more time to pursue other interests, as your investments will be managed for you on a discretionary basis. All of this at a cost less than you might reasonably expect.
Discretionary Portfolio Management means giving a professional Portfolio Manager the authority to make investment decisions on your behalf. Your investment strategy will be designed and managed according to your clearly-documented needs and goals. However, unlike a traditional investment account, it is not necessary for you to review and approve every single transaction.
Managed Portfolio Accounts are often a good fit for:
- Busy professionals, executives and business owners
- Trustees of charities, foundations and endowments
- Retirees who travel often, have busy lifestyles or have no inclination to manage their own investments
Individuals responsible for sizeable family trusts.
You can feel confident that your financial affairs are being managed by an experienced, knowledgeable portfolio manager, backed by the knowledge and resources of BMO Financial Group. Account minimum starts at $250,000.
Meridian is a non-discretionary fee-based advisory program offering clients the benefits of advisor-based, full-service investing for one all-inclusive fee. With a minimum investment of $100,000, clients pay an annual fee, instead of commissions on every transaction. This fee-based structure offers comprehensive wealth management strategies - not just trade securities.
The Architect Program is a unique kind of managed account solution - a unified managed account (UMA) that brings together the best of mutual fund investing (broad and accessible diversification) with the best of separately managed accounts (institutional money management, customized portfolios, and direct ownership of the underlying securities). All brought together in one coordinated portfolio, with all the rigorous oversight and due diligence from our internal and external teams. The Unified Managed Account is a single diversified portfolio that combines separately managed accounts, mutual funds, exchange traded fund (ETFs) and hedge funds into a single account for investors - a customized investment solution for investors with a minimum of $150,000 to invest.
As a managed investment portfolio, the BluePrint Program allows you to benefit from the research expertise of BMO Nesbitt Burns' top-ranked institutional equity research analysts. Through the BluePrint Program, you will have access to seven portfolios that are managed on a segregated account basis for a low competitive fee. Account minimums start at $100,000.
The Quadrant Program offers systematic asset allocation, access to leading global institutional investment managers and investment styles, individual portfolio development, daily monitoring, and regular rebalancing and reporting, for those with $50,000 or more to invest.
The underlying mutual funds which comprise the Quadrant portfolios are managed by SEI. Our associates at SEI are world leaders in measuring the effectiveness of investment management companies. Calling on an unparalleled global database, SEI researchers in the U.S. and Canada select, from thousands available worldwide, the elite group of specialist managers who will work on our behalf through Quadrant. Finally, the more than 25 top investment management firms chosen are monitored daily by SEI professionals to ensure that they stay within defined investment parameters for investment style, process, and performance.
*Fees on all managed taxable accounts are deductible against revenue for tax purposes.
