It’s always interesting to think about how things have changed over the years.

 

Did you rock a mullet back in the 80’s? If so, you can look back and laugh at how silly that would look today.

 

 

Did you look like a highlighter in the 90’s? Again, it is easy to look back and laugh.

 

 

Yes, it is easy to laugh at our past trendy fashion choices because they have no long-lasting impact on our lives today.

 

However, our choice to follow a trend can have a long-lasting impact to our lives if they are related to purchasing investments that do not live up to their hype.

 

In 2020, we were faced with a global pandemic which brought changes to how we lived our daily lives. For example, we all started working out from home and the demand for Peloton bikes was off the charts.

 

Investment returns in Peloton stock along with the stocks of other “pandemic winners” came quickly.

 

Like the mullet, this longevity, or lack thereof, wasn’t always taken into consideration.

 

Today, let’s look back at some pandemic winners whose stocks have come back down to earth.
