Sharon has dedicated her career in Wealth Management to building relationships with her clients and their families, helping them successfully reach their financial goals. Since joining Nesbitt Thomson in 1980, her focus has been on offering the best advice, informed choices and excellent service. The long tenure of her clients and the deep relationships she has built is testament to her commitment to delivering on her client promise.
Sharon's professional accomplishments speak to her commitment to maximize her clients' long-term objectives. She was one of the first to receive the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation in 2008. Sharon is also a licensed Portfolio Manager and licensed for life and disability insurance. Other industry achievements include the Canadian Investment Management program, the Personal Financial Planning program and the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designation.
Prior to becoming an Investment Advisor, Sharon served for five years in the office of then Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. She currently sits as a Director on the board for St. Margaret’s Towers, a not-for-profit organization offering rent-geared-to-income housing.
Sharon starts the day with a jog through the neighbourhood, enjoys exploring the world on a bike, and continues to be an enthusiastic political supporter and volunteer.
Alisa Carli, B.Comm., CFA®

As the co-leader of Kubicek Carli Wealth Management Group, Alisa Carli offers smart, informed, bespoke discretionary portfolio management and financial, insurance, tax, estate and philanthropic planning.
Alisa has helped clients shoulder many difficult challenges and become comfortable with their money. She stays one step ahead of what’s needed and provides clarity to help people feel secure. For 33 years, Alisa has begun every relationship by understanding clients’ needs and expectations for the short and long term, then she creates customized wealth plans and cash-flow management strategies, guiding people on tax-efficient ways to withdraw funds. She is proud to advise four generations of some families. Her clients include women who have lost a partner or want to control their own finances and retirees who need cash management and help transitioning from work to retirement.
Alisa’s career began with Nesbitt Thomson, the predecessor firm to BMO Nesbitt Burns, in 1990. In addition to holding the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and Life Insurance license, Alisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto.
A native Torontonian fluent in Italian, Alisa stays connected to her heritage by participating in cultural community events. Alisa resides in the eclectic Wychwood Barns neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. When she’s not travelling to build on her amateur gourmand and oenophile interests, you will find Alisa on the courts at the Wychwood Tennis Club, where she serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer.
Zahid Chaudhery
Associate
Zahid began his financial services industry career in 1994 on the Toronto Stock Exchange trading floor and enjoyed 18 years working in Capital Markets as a successful Registered Trader for a US based investment dealer. He made the transition to the Wealth Management arena when he joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017 and the Kubicek Carli Wealth Management Group in 2019.
His experience on a daily basis presiding over the up, down and sideways nature of equity markets gives him great insight and knowledge understanding and managing investor behaviour and the importance of taking a long term and conservative approach to investing.
Zahid graduated with a BA History from Western University and holds the Chartered Investment Manager CIM® and Personal Financial Planner PFP® designations.
Christine Duggan
Senior Client Service Associate
Christine began her financial services career with TD Bank in 1981, where she rose through the ranks to become a Manager, Customer Service. While at TD Bank, she won numerous Awards of Excellence for her commitment to client service and employee satisfaction.
In 2003, Christine moved over to the investment side of the financial industry, joining CIBC Wood Gundy; she has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2006.
Christine’s financial and customer service experience allows her to provide quality, accurate, and timely administrative support for the Kubicek Carli Group. She is committed to delivering the high level of service their clients expect.
Christine enjoys travelling to tropical destinations, spending time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan.
