Following the mandatory licensing training period, Victor will move into the role of Investment Advisor joining John Ridd & Megan Lisowski.

Many of you have worked with and are big fans of Victor and his work. As a Director, Wealth Planning, Victor added tremendous value by delivering superior Wealth Plans. Victor effectively blends his personable approach with a keen eye for tax planning to provide clients with comprehensive planning experience and solutions that effectively resonates with their goals and objectives. He is a CFA charter holder, an accountant (CA, CPA) and a CFP.

Victor was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in the various suburban areas around Toronto. Victor is bilingual (Mandarin) and credits his parents for his tireless work ethic and his strong family values, both of which have carried into his professional career. Victor graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from York University, specializing in accounting. He began his career as a tax accountant at one of the “Big Four” multinational accounting firms, where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and completed the CPA in Depth tax course. Victor built his foundation working in the Private Company Services group, where he developed the technical ability as well as the professional experience in dealing with owner-shareholder clients from the small to medium enterprises sector. Victor then joined the Family Office of one of Canada’s most prominent families and provided financial services to the ultra-high net worth client base prior to joining BMO in 2016.

Victor has a great sense of humour and enjoys spending his free time playing basketball, daydreaming about his NBA aspirations, traveling and spending time with his wife Jen and young son, Lucas.

Please join us in welcoming Victor in his new role as Investment Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns and the Ridd & Associates team.
