Loan Nguyen brings her clients over 26 years of financial experience and the attentive care that comes from working with a truly dedicated people person. Born in Vietnam, Loan moved to Edmonton at the age of nine and discovered snow for the first time. Inspired by her parents’ discipline and entrepreneurial spirit, Loan built her business through astute financial planning and her passion for helping people to live a balanced, healthy life.
 
Loan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations. She is working to obtain the Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist through the Academy of Financial Divorce Specialists. Loan is a licensed Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®). She has completed the Personal Financial Counselling Diploma with the Institute of Canadian Bankers and holds her Level II Life Insurance License with the Alberta Insurance Council. Before becoming a Wealth Advisor, Loan was a Financial Advisor at TD Canada Trust and a Financial Services Manager at BMO.
 
Loan has an impressive background in community leadership. She was one of the founding Director as well as serving as Executive Director & President of the North Edmonton Business Association (NEBA) for five years, assists with fundraising events in support of charities especially the Edmonton Humane Society. She is a member of the eWomenNetwork and does charitable work for families with the Edmonton Public School Board during the school year. Loan resides in Edmonton with her daughter, two dogs and one cats. Loan and her daughter loves to travel especially to Jasper, Banff and Lake Louise.  Exploring and learning new things, such as learning to speak Mandarin, is a favorite reading past time for Loan.

Sarah graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce, with a focus on Finance and Risk Management. She joined the financial industry in 2006 and been helping with high net worth families achieve their goals ever since. She assists high net worth families with complex affairs, to preserve, grow and transition their wealth to future generations. 

Sarah has enjoyed a very successful and impressive career to date, being a leading professional consultant in the insurance industry for major financial services firms. With over 12 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry, Sarah believe in long term, trusting relationships and works closely with advisors and their clients to provide customized solutions and strategies to meet their assets, and growing their estate. She provides each advisor, and their clients, with professional customer service and efficient timelines. Sarah is able to provide advice on Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Disability and Long Term Care.

An avid cyclist and skier, Sarah brings that same discipline and commitment to a variety of community and personal causes. Having biked across Canada twice for Kids Cancer, it is evident she is dedicated and determined at whatever she puts her mind to.

Estate and Insurance Advisor

Amanda works with our clients to develop an estate plan and insurance strategies that can preserve or enhance their estate, communicate their wishes, provide protection in the event of critical illness or disability, and look after their family in the event of untimely deaths. Amanda began her career in the insurance industry over a decade ago. She brings a thirst for expanding knowledge and technical skills and has achieved her CFP, CLU and TEP, all of which focus on Estate and Tax planning. She is actively involved in the local financial planning community and sits on the board for the local chapters of Advocis and STEP.

Shawna Albornoz is the Vice President of Trust Services (Prairies) with BMO Trust Company, the fiduciary arm of the BMO Financial Group. Shawna has been in the Estate and Trust Industry since 2001 and she has administered over 130 Estate, Trust, Power of Attorney, and charitable foundation accounts during her career.
 
Through her experience as a corporate Executor and Trustee for high net worth clients, she has acquired the expertise to help families effectively plan for the transfer of wealth to the next generation and deal with all fiduciary responsibilities. Shawna holds her MTI designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, she is a member of The Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP), an international professional organization dedicated to promoting financial and estate planning considerations between generations and is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Council (EPC).
