Harvey Comazzetto

Vice President & Market Leader, Senior Wealth Advisor

Harvey has been with the BMO Financial group since 1983, the first fourteen years of which were spent with the Bank of Montreal -- where he held various positions including Area Manager and Main Branch Manager -- before moving on to work with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1997. He presently serves as the Market Leader in Kamloops and has received the distinction of Vice President. This experience has given Harvey a vast knowledge of banking, investing, and the financial world, in general, which provides immeasurable value to the services that he is able to provide to his clients.

A lifelong resident of Kamloops, Harvey has a great love of and pride in the area. He and his wife, Barbara, have had the added pleasure of raising their family in the Thompson Valley as well. Both of their children, Jordana and Jeremy, are now pursuing post-secondary studies at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), in the city. Harvey is actively involved in the community and has been a considerable proponent of youth athletics, sponsoring high school sports’ teams, soccer tournaments and provincial basketball championships. Harvey is a past board member of the Kamloops Curling Club. He and Kelly are also keen supporters of TRU, providing academic and athletic sponsorship. Harvey also maintains close ties with the agricultural community, having been a long time 4-H member, then a 4-H club leader and now a sponsor of 4-H events, such as the Provincial Winter Fair in Kamloops. It is this sense of family and community that Harvey brings to work with him every day. Harvey began his post-secondary education with a Diploma in Business and Accounting from Thompson Rivers University (formerly Cariboo College), followed by enrolment in the Certified General Accounting program and a stint in a public accounting practice, before beginning his career in banking and investing, which led him to take the Canadian Securities Course which he completed with Honours. More recently he has taken the Professional Financial Planning Course, Options’ Supervisors Course and Branch Managers’ Course. Harvey says that while his formal training has been important, his greatest education has come through years spent in the industry. It is that grass roots’ experience which has given him the practical skills and knowledge necessary to properly advise his clients when making important financial and investing decisions.
