Senior Investment Advisor

David was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and attended McMaster University where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He began his professional career with Scotiabank where he worked in retail banking for seven years before joining the Brokerage Industry.  David has been an Investment Advisor for over 28 years and has also had management roles in that time including a seven-year run as the Branch Manager of the BMO Nesbitt Burns London office.

David enjoys working with Investors who are retired and those who want to work towards that goal.  He firmly believes that life is a balancing act.  You want to live a life today and you also want to ensure that you have the resources to take care of the older version of yourself and your family.

When not in the office David and his wife can be found enjoying time with family and friends at their cottage in Wasaga Beach where he enjoys walking, hiking, kayaking and golf.

Peter Kennedy, BA, CFP®

Investment Adviser, Financial Planner

Peter specializes in providing physicians and other incorporated professionals with astute asset management and financial planning strategies. His particular strength is driving tax-efficient income through an integrated and well-executed financial plan. 

Peter started his career in banking and investment management in 2005 and joined MD Financial Management in 2012, where he gained an advanced understanding of a physician's personal and professional financial needs. Peter also spent three years as a Financial Planner at TD Waterhouse before joining BMO in 2016. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Outside of work, Peter and can often be found at Boler Mountain skiing, hiking, or mountain biking. He and his family belong to the London Ski Club (LSC), where his two young daughters compete in ski racing. Peter also enjoys introducing his girls to the game of golf. He currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the LSC and formerly served on Boler Mountain’s Board of Directors. Peter also served as Treasurer on the Board of the Red Shoe Society for four years, which raises money for Ronald McDonald House to support patients of the Children’s Hospital.

Kim Rusin, BA, PFP®

Senior Investment Associate

Kim was born and raised in London Ontario.  She attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her undergraduate degree in business. 

Kim began her securities career at Midland Walwyn in 1997 and completed her Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Exams in 1998.  Kim has also completed her Professional Financial Planning Course. 

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Kim enjoys helping clients obtain their financial goals through asset management and financial planning strategies.

Kim and her husband, Ted, have 2 children and have been married since 1996.  Their family has been involved in many competitive sports over the years such as hockey, soccer, rowing and basketball.  Kim has been a team manager at one point or another for all of these.
