Ben Andrews

Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager

Ben is a Portfolio Manager and Discretionary Wealth Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns. He has been providing wealth management solutions for select families, individuals and corporations since Feb 1998. He earned his BA in economics from Queen's University  in Kingston, Ontario and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.  Additionally, Ben is the first BMO Nesbitt Burns advisor to have completed the Family Enterprise Advisors  program at the Sauder School of Business and has passed the Chartered Financial Advisor  (CFA) Level 1.

Ben believes in a proactive management style. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients and other discipline experts empowering clients to make integrated and informed decisions.

Ben and his wife Pam have three children, one daughter and two sons. He was born in London, England, was raised in Vancouver and attended St. George's School. Ben enjoys  playing rugby, now "touch", windsurfing/wingfoiling and tennis. He is also an avid reader and is an enthusiastic supporter of his kids’ soccer, volleyball and rugby.

Cheri Mizumoto, BBA, CIM

Business Associate (Senior)

Cheri is a Senior Business Associate with the Ben Andrews Wealth Management Group and has over 20 years of experience within the financial industry.  She brings a high level of care and attention to detail to her work, and enjoys helping clients reach their financial goals.  Cheri works closely with Ben with portfolio management and trading.  Please contact her with your research or investment management questions.

Cheri is a graduate of Simon Fraser University (SFU) where she attained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.  She has completed many Professional Development courses including the Options licensing course and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.

Cheri is married with one son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, yoga, kickboxing and biking

Nancy Wong, B.Sc.

Senior Client Service Associate

Nancy is the Senior Client Service Associate with the Ben Andrews Wealth Management Group.  Starting at the retail level with BMO Bank of Montreal as a Senior Customer Service Representative, she brings with her over ten years of experience in the financial industry.  Nancy continues to build and maintain strong client relationships by overseeing client requests, administrative tasks, as well as trade execution.

Nancy is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She is currently looking to expand her financial knowledge by completing the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.  Her goal is to provide clients a general guidance to their overall financial goals.

During her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing yoga, and trying out different restaurants and cuisines.

Nicole Van Stekelenburg, BA

Client Service Associate

Nicole is a Client Service Associate with the Ben Andrews Wealth Management Group. As the most recent addition to the team, she brings with her over four years of experience in the financial industry. Nicole focuses on maintaining client relationships, onboarding, and various day-to-day tasks to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.

Nicole graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Continuing education and pursuing professional growth is very important to Nicole and has recently completed her Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course.

In her free time, you can find Nicole dragon boating in False Creek, skiing up Whistler or at a concert at one of the many venues downtown. Nicole prides herself in giving back to the community and is currently a volunteer with the Big Sisters’ Study Buddy program providing one-to-one mentoring for a child.
