Ieen joined BMO Financial Group in November 1988 and been with BMO Harris Private Banking since March 2010.
She has worked in various roles in the Bank, the last as Branch Manager for 8 years managing various complex branches. Currently, Ieen is a Senior Private Banker managing a portfolio of high net worth Canadian families. Ieen’s expertise is in everyday finance to much more complex banking solutions, with a focus on building trust based on offering her clients with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Ieen has her Professional Financial Planning designation (PFP) and has completed her Canadian Securities Course as well as the Certificate of Achievement – Financial Counselling.

As a member of the Wealth Management Consulting team, Karen brings together the knowledge and experience of our in-house tax and estate professionals and works with Investment Advisors and their clients to develop sound wealth management plans.
She provides support and direction about complex issues such as retirement and distribution planning, tax planning, cash management, estate and gift planning, transition planning and charitable giving.
Karen has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, she worked for several financial institutions where she supported financial advisors in building their business. Most recently, she worked at an investment counsel firm where she provided high net worth clients with financial planning and investment counselling advice.
Karen holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® or CFP® designation and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and a BA from York University.

Michael has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry and has worked for several major banks and a mutual fund firm. Since 1997 Michael has focused on providing High Net Worth clients, executives and business owners with strategic advice and customized financial plans to address their unique and complex needs and goals.
Michael completed his BA in Economics from York University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Financial Management Adviser (FMA), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and the Chartered Strategic Wealth Professional (CSWP) designations and is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (TEP). He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration
VP & Head of Tax, Estate and Trust Expertise
John is responsible for providing Investment Advisors with tax planning support and is available to answer tax questions and provide tax information that is relevant for our business. John's tax knowledge is also shared with Investment Advisors through technical articles and publications, as well as training and business development conference calls.
Before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, John was employed by a large, international accounting firm as a senior member of the Toronto High Net Worth tax practice. John's areas of expertise include personal tax, and financial and estate planning for High Net Worth individuals, executives, and entrepreneurs. John has also assisted in the design and execution of executive compensation plans and has experience in a wide range of issues concerning the taxation of individuals, corporations, trusts and partnerships.
John is a Chartered Accountant (CA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP) and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) from Queen's University.
Estate & Trust Planning Manager
Irit is responsible for providing estate and trust planning support to Investment Advisors who want to position themselves as their clients' CFO. As part of the Wealth Planning Expertise Team, and in her capacity as estate and trust planning in-house counsel, Irit helps Investment Advisors review the goals and needs of their High Net Worth clients. Her knowledge is also shared with Investment Advisors through technical articles and publications, as well as training and business development conference calls.
Irit has extensive experience in Will and trust interpretation, the preparation of Wills, powers of attorney and trusts and in assisting clients with the implementation of a variety of estate planning strategies emphasizing key factors such as family dynamics, tax and business considerations, and capacity and fiduciary issues.
Before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Irit was employed by a major Toronto law firm. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Statutory Review, Capacity Law Working Group sub-committees of the Ontario Bar Association and an assistant editor of the Ontario Bar Association's Trusts and Estates Section newsletter Deadbeat.
Linda is responsible for providing Investment Advisors with Canadian and U.S. HNW tax planning support. Linda will be working alongside John Waters and Irit Gertzbein as part of our HNW Technical Expertise team and will be providing support to her colleagues within the Wealth Group, as well as participating in PCD HNW Deal Teams.
Before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Linda was a member of a global tax team at a large consulting firm where she assisted individuals in understanding the Canadian, U.S. and international tax implications of their various forms of compensation. Prior to that, she was employed by a large, international accounting firm in their International Assignment Services and Small Business tax groups. Linda has expertise in U.S. personal tax matters and can provide guidance on cross-border personal income tax issues. In her previous role, Linda was also involved in the design and execution of global executive compensation and share plans.
Linda is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Marvi Ricker joined BMO Harris Private Banking in 2002 to help clients to engage in meaningful philanthropy based on their personal values and a strategic approach to giving. She helps individuals and families to create legacies within their families and communities, either by setting up private foundations or structuring significant gifts to their favourite charities, either in their lifetimes or through their wills.
From 1990 to 2002, Marvi was executive director of The Ivey Foundation, a private charitable foundation, which has made grants of almost $80 million in support of projects in health, education, social development, environment, and arts and culture.
Marvi is a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute, and has served on a number of boards, among them the University of Toronto Governing Council, Telehealth Ontario Advisory Committee, Living Legacy Trust and National Museum of Science and Technology. She is currently on the board of the Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation, as well as the advisory board for Carlton University’s Masters in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership.
