Larry Moncik’s career began as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager with a large international insurance company, where he gained expertise in equities, fixed income, both in the public and private loan space, and money market securities. Between his initial career and joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1996, he initiated a number of entrepreneurial business ventures, where his experience with small business has led to a practical and realistic appreciation of today’s business environment.
Larry’s practice includes all aspects of investment management, with personalization of investment strategies based on a client’s risk preferences, investment “personality”, short and long term investment objectives, and personal and family circumstances.
Larry has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is licensed as a Portfolio Manager. He has earned his B. Comm. degree at the University of Toronto and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
He and his wife, Bonnie reside in Toronto and they are particularly proud of their two sons and five grandchildren.
