MSB Wealth Hosts: An Evening with Chic Scott

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting legendary mountaineer, author, and storyteller Chic Scott for an unforgettable evening at the beautiful Glencoe Golf & Country Club.

Chic took us on a journey through a life shaped by adventure — from growing up in southwest Calgary to exploring some of the world’s most iconic peaks. With breathtaking photos and thoughtful reflections, he shared stories from the Canadian Rockies, the European Alps, and the Himalayas, along with insights from his career as the author of 15 books, including a celebrated biography of Hans Gmoser.

It was a night filled with inspiration, nostalgia, and admiration for the mountains — and the people who dare to climb them.
