Anne Desgagnés
For nearly a decade I worked in portfolio management for a clientele consisting mostly of pension funds and high net worth families. This experience was acquired through a very hands-on investment selection process. The investment philosophy that I employ today at BMO Nesbitt Burns is very much based on the knowledge gained through this extensive experience, enhanced by my background as an engineer, with an MBA in Finance, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. My approach is one of portfolio construction and management, based on mostly direct ownership of securities with an emphasis on risk management, tax efficiency and cost effectiveness. I work with clients to build customized portfolios that fit within the context of a financial plan based on their specific needs and situation.
