With over three decades of experience in the investment industry, R Joni Ganderton joined BMO Nesbitt Burns as a Senior Investment Advisor in 2003. Joni is responsible for strategic direction, portfolio strategy, and asset allocation.

Joni has earned an MBA in Finance and is a Certified Financial Planner.

Community is important to Joni and she has been involved in various community organizations over the years including serving as past Investment Committee Chair, Lady Minto Hospital Foundation, Salt Spring Island.

When not in the office, Joni enjoys hiking and the outdoors, spending time on the trails with her husband.

Emma joined the R. Joni Ganderton Group in 2022 after working at BMO for 12 years, as both a Business Development Manager for InvestorLine, and the Victoria Main Branch in Financial Planning and Management. Prior to BMO, Emma also worked as a  Financial Consultant for MD Financial Management.  Emma also holds the Professional Financial Planning Designation, and has a strong background in financial planning, a good understanding of the needs of investors, and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. With 20 years of experience in finance, and a disciplined and caring approach to meeting client needs, Emma works closely with Joni in providing investment advice, wealth planning, and client services.

Raised on Vancouver Island, Emma has a great appreciation of nature, art and photography, and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors.

Sandee Kent has been a member of The R Joni Ganderton Group since 2011. With over 35 years of experience in the investment industry, she is a wealth of information and has a way of addressing the challenges that others may find difficult to resolve. Passionate about helping clients and staff alike, Sandee  prides herself on the level of service she provides to clients of the R Joni Ganderton Group’s  team, from initial onboarding to ongoing administration and servicing. Every client deserves a superior level of service and this is Sandees continuous goal.

Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, Sandee worked at Island Savings Credit Union fulfilling many different roles from customer service to compliance to management, resulting in a broad range of knowledge to draw from.  She has completed not only the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct & Practices Handbook,  but has also earned certificates in Professional Financial Planning.

Outside of work, you can find Sandee enjoying camping trips in her RV or spending quality time with her family.
