Shawn Flick, CFP, CIM, HBA

Portfolio Manager & Senior Investment Advisor

Shawn holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He also has a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from UWO. Shawn is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), and Financial Management Advisor (FMA). Shawn has been an Advisor with BMO Private Wealth/BMO Nesbitt Burns since 2000. Prior to that Shawn was a faculty member at the Richard Ivey School of Business. He also spent time working in the business operations group with the National Hockey League.

Shawn has developed key relationships with local BMO leadership both in retail and commercial banking. He has developed BMO partnerships both within London and surrounding rural communities that allow clients to benefit from the entire BMO offering. Shawn is originally from Stratford and has lived in London since attending UWO in 1993. He is passionate about his two children, Kate and Jack, and is kept busy coaching minor sports. In his spare time Shawn enjoys staying active at the gym.

Jonathan Batch, BA, CIM, FCSI

Portfolio Manager, Senior Wealth Advisor

Jonathan is a Senior Investment Advisor & Portfolio Manager with BMO Private Wealth. Starting in 2002, he has built a successful practice providing investment management and financial planning services to a varied client base across Southwestern Ontario. Jonathan is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in psychology. Jonathan received his Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation in 2010, his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2012, and his Portfolio Manager designation in 2014.

In addition to day to day work with clients, Jonathan is Past-Chair of the IA Advisory Council at BMO Nesbitt Burns. This national council of 16 advisors meets quarterly with senior leadership to collaboratively advance the strategic agenda of BMO Nesbitt Burns and represent the 1000+ advisors who work at BMO Nesbitt Burns.

Recognizing that volunteering is integral to a vibrant community, Jonathan has been active with several organizations. He has volunteered with St. Joseph’s since 2011, starting on the Finance / Resource Planning and Audit Committee (RPAC) eventually serving as Chair of that committee. During that time he also served as Chair of the Investment Subcommittee of RPAC and Chair of the Lawson Health Research Institute Finance and Investment Committee. Jonathan previously volunteered on the McCormick Home Foundation board and was Chair from 2007-2009. Jonathan currently serves as Past Chair of the Board at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.

Jonathan and his wife Elizabeth are kept busy with their three daughters' competitive volleyball and school and activities. They spend as much time as possible outside enjoying skiing, hiking, canoeing and camping.

Sharon Tingley

Senior Investment Associate

Sharon began her career in the financial services industry in 1988 with Canada Trust. Throughout her 25+ years in the industry she has gained extensive knowledge in all areas of financial management. After sixteen years and progressively senior roles in banking, Sharon decided to transition to the wealth management business. She joined the BMO Nesbitt Burns office in 2007.

In addition to her years of experience as an Investment Representative with BMO Nesbitt Burns, Sharon has obtained her life and disability insurance designation, Professional Financial Planning course and has most recently competed of her CFP® designation. Sharon is dedicated to providing the highest level of client care and exceptional service.

Angela Kendall, PFP®

Senior Investment Associate

Angela grew up in Saskatchewan and started in the investment industry in 2003. She joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2010 after 7 years at RBC and relocated to London from Saskatoon in March 2022. Angela has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Exam, Professional Financial Planning Course, the Wealth Management Essentials Course and has obtained her life and disability insurance designation. Throughout her years working in wealth management, she focused on managing her team’s day to day administrative operations and providing excellent client service. Outside of the office, she spends as much time as possible exploring all that London and area has to offer with her partner Matt and their three dogs.

Tric Daer

Senior Client Service Associate

Tric grew up in Wingham, Ontario and started in the investment industry in 1994 after completing her Legal Assistant Diploma at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. She joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in June 2006 after 12 years at CIBC Wood Gundy. Tric has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Exam, Canadian Options Course, Professional Financial Planning Course, as well as, the Wealth Management Essentials Course. Tric’s years of experience in the business are an integral part of helping our team develop new processes that put our clients needs first and help our team’s day to day operations run smoothly.

She has organized our office’s Christmas donation of toys, books and clothing to the local Children’s Aid office since 2006. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her niece and nephew.

Jennifer Town

Client Service Associate

Jennifer joined the banking industry in 2018 after working in the automotive sector for five years. Her experience in auto has given her a background in finance and a great emphasis on excellence in client service. Jennifer is an avid athlete who obtained her BSc from Mississippi Valley State University while playing soccer for the MSVU Devilettes.  Jennifer continues to be active, spending as much time as possible outside with her husband, their young son, and two dogs.

Katelyn Jones

Client Service Associate

Katelyn worked in aviation security as a screening officer at the London international airport before starting at BMO Nesbitt Burns. Prior to that she worked as a customer service representative at Scotiabank and also had an administrative role at an auction house. Katelyn obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from King’s University College, majoring in Psychology. When she’s not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing outdoor activities.
