Janet was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and grew up in New Brunswick. She moved to Fredericton, NB in 1993 to begin her career in the financial services industry with one of the country’s largest investment dealers. She has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 1995 and enjoys the entrepreneurial culture of the firm.
Janet has been married for 25 years to her wonderful husband Tim Phillips of Fredericton, NB. They are devoted parents to their two boys, Ryan and Evan. School, hockey, soccer and biking keep their family active and connected.
Outside of work Janet enjoys spending time at the cottage with her family and friends, gardening, and learning to play golf.
