Margot began her career with the firm in 2011 and now brings more than a decade of experience focused on investment advisory, portfolio construction, financial planning and ongoing portfolio management. After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Finance and Economics from the University of New Brunswick, Margot relocated to Toronto to continue her professional career with the Newlands Group.

Margot works closely with clients to provide tailored investment advice and disciplined portfolio management, including asset allocation, security selection, trade execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Margot is licensed to trade all types of securities including options and applies a strong understanding of markets, risk management, and investment strategy to help clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.

Outside of work, Margot remains active and team-oriented, having played both hockey and rugby. She maintains strong ties to the East Coast, where time spent with family and friends has shaped her warm, approachable style—complementing her professionalism and commitment to building long-term client relationships.
