Alain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a major in Finance from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He started his career by joining BMO Nesbitt Burns as a securities broker in 1987.

Sylvie Pineault

Investment Representative

Sylvie joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1990. She served as the administrator of the McGill branch for eight years. She has worked closely with Alain since 2006 and is responsible for administrative duties and customer service. Sylvie has more than 31 years of experience in the securities industry and has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

Marwan Mansour

Marwan is a Finance graduate from the John Molson Shcool of Business.  He has accumulated over 7 years of wealth management related experience and has completed his Canadian securities course and options & derivatives licensing course.

As a Tax lawyer and financial planner, Zeina advises high net worth families, professionals and entrepreneurs on specialized wealth planning solutions. Whether it’s thought leadership on estate planning, new family wealth, tax planning, or philanthropy, Zeina is dedicated to simplifying complex issues and providing practical and informed strategies. Zeina joined BMO in 2011 after several years as a tax lawyer in private practice. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2001.

Michel Bélanger

Trust and estate consultant

Michel has more than 28 years' experience in the financial planning industry.

He began his career in the life insurance and investment world as a financial security advisor with a major Canadian insurance company. In the early 2000s, he began a new career in banking with BMO. In private banking, Michel distinguished himself as a Financial Planner, Regional Investment Products Manager and Wealth Management Advisor.

Since 2021, he has held the position of Trusts and Estates Advisor. Drawing on his extensive experience in the world of financial planning, Michel has the knowledge and empathy to engage in emotional and often difficult discussions about estate and trust planning. Helping people in these sensitive moments is a great motivation for Michel, giving them the best possible advice and trusting that our clients will be surrounded by the best team of professionals.

On a more personal note, Michel is an avid fisherman, golfer and runner. He's also a great audiophile and music lover, and whenever he can, he likes to enjoy his home in the Gaspé Peninsula and his cottage on the Baie des Chaleurs.

About Philippe
Philippe plays a vital role in guiding clients through a comprehensive analysis of their financial, personal, and family situations. With his extensive background in taxation and accounting, Philippe provides expert guidance to affluent clients regarding their tax and financial options, effectively addressing their concerns.
Experience & background
Philippe earned his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2011 and a master's degree in taxation (M. Fisc.) from the University of Sherbrooke in 2017. In addition, he holds the title of Financial Planner (F. Pl.), awarded by the Institut Québécois de Planification Financière in 2022. Prior to joining BMO, Philippe served as a Manager in Canadian Tax in private practice, where he cultivated in-depth expertise in Canadian taxation and tax reorganization. He also boasts significant experience in accounting, gained through his tenure in audit with a major international accounting firm.
