Sébastien has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 1997. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration, Finance from Laval University and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 2001. In addition to heading up the BMO Private Wealth office in Quebec City, Sébastien is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire team, including portfolio management.

He is currently sits on the board of directors of Fondation de l’Institut universitaire de cardiologie et pneumologie de Québec and BMO Nesbitt Burns’s national private client investment strategy committee. He has also been a member of the company’s national advisory committee for investment advisors since 2013.

Mr. Truchon began his career with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2000 after completing a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Montreal and a Master of Business Administration specializing in Finance from Laval University (Honourable Mention). Mathieu was named a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute in 2008 (Fellow of CSI (FCSI®)). As a member of Association des économistes québécois, Mr. Truchon is proudly involved in his community. In this capacity, he served as chair of the Committee on Taxation and Public Finance, a member of the board of directors of Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, chair of the board of directors of Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec, vice-chair of the board of directors of the La Moisson food bank, a member of the board of directors of Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (Emploi Québec) and secretary-treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Truchon is currently vice-chair of the board of directors of the Quebec Symphony Orchestra and a member of the United Way Major Donors’ Circle.

Mathieu advises our clients on all aspects of wealth management and acts as a portfolio manager.

In December 2007, Karine joined the team as customer service manager. She has been with BMO Wealth Management since 2004.  Karine completed her Securities Course (CSC) in 2005 and her Wealth Essentials Course (WME) in 2022. She also holds a certificate in administration from Laval University. As senior administrative associate, Karine ensures that all requests are properly handled and completed on time. Thanks to her professional experience, she is the go-to person for the various procedures and operations to be performed.

Laurence began her career at BMO in 2014 and has been a member of the team since 2018. She graduated from Laval University in Financial Planning in 2015 and received her IQPF Financial Planner designation (F. Pl.) a few months later. Thanks to her impressive credentials, she joined the team as a senior wealth associate. She is responsible for preparing and presenting financial plans. A dedicated employee and partner, Laurence responds to requests efficiently and confidently.

Rania joined our team in 2021, after working for another BMO subsidiary. She completed her Bachelor of Actuarial Science at Laval University in 2017, loves numbers, and is known for her ability to solve complex problems. Rania likes to be in the thick of the action and getting results. Her role on the team includes helping implement portfolio management principles and wealth management strategies. Her focus on detail and dedication to quality makes her a top-notch financial planner. In addition to being one of our team’s experts on securities transactions, Rania is a great listener who accurately identifies our clients’ investment needs and objectives.

Camille joined the team in December 2021. Building on her 2019 Bachelor of Consumer Sciences from Laval University, she is dedicated to customer satisfaction and constantly seeks to improve the quality of services provided by her team. She holds a representative’s certificate from Autorité des marchés financiers, she has completed the Canadian Securities Course as well as the Wealth Management Essentials (WME®) Course. Camille has many years of customer service experience and is a person of trust, making her an asset when it comes to communicating with our clients.
