Chrys Pelegris has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 17 years. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, and of the Schulich School of Business where he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA). He also holds numerous industry accreditations. Chrys uses his MBA specialization to build short and long-term financial strategies for our clients. In 2021, Chrys received the Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) designation. Chrys’ expertise is in providing seamless transition of complicated financial situations. This training has equipped us with the knowledge needed to discuss environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues with our clients, as well as practical insights on how to incorporate responsible investing into our practice. He is always easily accessible when needed. Chrys is characterized as trustworthy by our clients, resulting in building our client base through referrals.
When not in the office, Chrys’ passion is to maintain a rich varied lifestyle. He can be found enjoying outdoor activities, attending social engagements, or viewing stage shows.
Chrys believes that success brings about an obligation to give back to the community. Each year he contributes over 140 hours of his time towards various charities. This includes helping feed the poor of Toronto, and helping other charities that support children in need in Canada and around the world.
