Patrick Bennett is the senior portfolio manager and leader of Bennett Investment Group. He brings over 30 years of experience with BMO Nesbitt Burns, where he is responsible for the group’s investment philosophy, portfolio construction, and overall strategic direction. He works closely with individuals and families to design and manage disciplined investment strategies aligned with long-term financial objectives. His approach emphasizes capital preservation, risk management, and thoughtful asset allocation, supported by institutional research and ongoing market analysis. As head of the group, Mr. Bennett provides leadership and oversight to ensure consistency, discipline, and a high standard of service across all client relationships.

Alexis brings over a decade of diversified investment experience, blending rigorous analytical discipline with a thoughtful, relationship‑driven advisory approach. His career spans public‑market research, institutional portfolio analytics, M&A advisory, and private‑market credit underwriting, giving him a holistic view of how capital flows, risks evolve, and long‑term value is created.

A McGill Honours graduate and lifelong investor, he has supported institutional managers, advised on strategictransactions, and led investment underwriting for a real‑estate family office. Earlier in his career, he founded a healthtechstartup focused on streamlining medical appointment bookings, shaping the founder‑centric perspective he brings to every investment conversation.

At BMO Nesbitt Burns, he helps manages a discretionary portfolio for high‑net‑worth clients, bringing a disciplined, client‑focused approach to portfolioselection, risk management, and wealth creation and preservation.

Danny Guarnieri, CPA, CA

Danny offers personalized wealth management advice to high-net-worth BMO clients. He identifies each client’s needs and objectives and determines their financial position in order to develop a comprehensive plan that simplifies complex matters such as financial, tax, estate and business succession planning. In addition, Danny draws on his extensive experience in a private practice to develop quality plans and educate clients on the risks and opportunities inherent in these plans.

 

Danny joined BMO Wealth Management in 2017. He began his career in 2006 with the international accounting firm Deloitte, where he gained significant experience auditing large public and private corporations. After completing a master’s degree in taxation in 2013, he joined Deloitte’s tax services where he specialized in tax planning and compliance for public and private corporations. In 2015, Danny joined the tax department of Richter LLP, where he developed his knowledge of tax planning and restructuring for private corporations and business owners.
