Andrew Craik, BBA, PFP

Andrew Craik loves working with all kinds of people and has been building strong advisory relationships since 1991. He builds comfort and trust, gets to know people’s personal and business lives very thoroughly, and enjoys many referrals from clients who’ve had positive experiences. Andrew has a thorough understanding of strategic investing and a wealth of hands-on experience in this ever-evolving industry. He aims to be your go-to for all kinds of financial advice – if you are buying a house, vacation property or car, getting a loan, or considering other decisions, his door is open. Before joining our predecessor firm, Nesbitt Thompson, in 1992, Andrew previously worked with another bank from the big 5. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and maintains strong ties to the city and the province. Andrew holds the Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. For almost 20 years, Andrew has volunteered for Team Canada Healing Hands since its inception in 2003, which provides rehabilitation education, training and care in needy areas of the world. He has been their Treasurer and has served on missions to Haiti. Andrew stays active as an avid runner who also enjoys cross country and downhill skiing, playing hockey with his sons Simon and Benjamin, and cycling. He lends an extra set of hands for his son’s football and hockey teams and is a long time supporter of the Fredericton Playhouse. Andrew resides with his wife Deborah and their two boys in the Mactaquac woods overlooking the Saint John River. The family loves boating, swimming off the dock, and travelling.

Peter Nason

Peter was raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After earning a degree in Economics from Bishop’s University, he commenced his financial services career in 1998 at Societe Generale Alternative Investment in Dublin, Ireland. After returning to Canada in 2000, Peter has worked as a financial planner for Royal Bank and Bank of Montreal and holds a Personal Financial Planner designation. Peter joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2015 and has established a prominent investment practice in the greater Fredericton region and well beyond. Through his time at Nesbitt Burns, he has developed multiple financial strategies that aid his clients with their diverse financial needs and goals.

Ian Howey

Ian joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2010 and is driven by a desire to help people meet their life goals and objectives. Ian brings to his clients a diverse background in the financial services industry which he commenced as a summer intern in 1989. He began working with BMO Bank of Montreal in 1997 and took a departure from his established background to pursue an active and fulfilling career in the Arts for seven years, returning to the financial sector in 2008. Ian possesses a drive for excellence in his pursuits and is anchored by a conviction to serve the needs of the people around him. Ian is from Grey County, Ontario and resides in Fredericton with his wife Susan, son Jonathan and daughter Kate. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, volunteering, and time on the century owned family farm.

Steven Perry leads The Perry Wealth Advisory Group at BMO Private Wealth Fredericton. Despite Steve’s sophisticated financial knowledge and expertise, he is approachable and speaks in terms everyone can understand. However, his richest learning experiences have come from his clients. A native of Prince Edward Island, Steven is a long-time resident of Fredericton, he shares his home and life with his wife, Michelle, their two sons, Michael and Scott, and extended family members Gucci the cat and Willie Nelson the dog. A proud Rotarian, Steve has been serving the community as a member of the Fredericton North chapter since 1987. Steve enjoys an active lifestyle through tennis, golf, skiing and long walks with Willie.

Wanda MacKay

Wanda MacKay has over two decades of experience working in the financial services industry. Before joining BMO Private Banking in 2012, Wanda gained extensive exposure to the Estate & Trust industry by working for a major industry leader. Wanda’s role as a Senior Trust Officer includes administering estates and trusts within Atlantic Canada. In addition, she works with BMO Financial group clients, in conjunction with their professional legal and tax advisors, to develop customized estate plans. On a personal note, Wanda enjoys reading and swimming. She also works with her family on their farm.

Susan Tregunno

Susan joined BMO Trust Co. in April 2017 and is responsible for Estate and Trust business in Atlantic Canada. Prior to joining BMO Trust Co., Susan worked in the Estate & Trust industry for another major Canadian financial institution where she was responsible for the day to day administration of a large Estate and Trust portfolio. She has extensive expertise in the settlement of estates, testamentary and inter vivos trusts and the administration of the assets of incapable individuals. Susan also has experience in the non-profit sector delivering fundraising programs and events.
