Philip Harland

Portfolio Manager & Senior Investment Advisor

Philip grew up in Montreal, where he graduated from Lower Canada College. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Queens University, he moved to Vancouver in 1993. Philip began his financial career in 1994, and has been an investment advisor since 1997. Many of Philip’s client’s families have trusted him for all those years and his clientele now includes many generations of the same family. As well as being an Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager, Philip is also a Life Insurance Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns Financial Services Inc. On the personal side, Philip enjoys being active with his wife and two sons, often found skiing Whistler, sailing, cycling or playing hockey.

Cameron McLean

Portfolio Manager & Senior Investment Advisor

Cameron entered into the collective partnership ‘Sharman McLean Wealth Advisory Group’ in 2018 after gaining 10 years of experience with the practice. Cameron has a Degree in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. Before joining the team he worked in Commercial Banking with HSBC Canada.

Cameron’s role comprises meeting with both existing and prospect clients in order to deliver a consistent and effective service, as well as focusing on the growth and development of the practice. Cameron’s philosophy employs an all-encompassing perspective of a client’s financial situation and makes sure that each wealth plan not only achieves a client’s goals, but also evolves and adapts to maintain effectiveness throughout changing circumstances.

Cameron brings a very analytical approach to investing, and plays an integral role in our investment management process. He has been recognized as a leader within BMO in regards to our financial planning and implementation of investment strategies.

Cameron and his wife Katrina like to keep active by running, cycling and playing with their daughters, Berlin and Isla.

Mark Uhlmann

Investment Advisor

Mark has been with Bank of Montreal since 2015; during that time, he has been recognized with numerous awards including “Commercial Banker of the Year” and two trips to BMO’s “Conference of Stars.” His academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC, a Certified Management Accountant (CPA) designation and successfully passing the Chartered Financial Analyst Level 1 exam.

Mark’s background in commercial banking and accounting give him the ability to add value to our most complex and sophisticated clientele. He specializes in investment strategies for clients with family businesses, complex organizational structures, not for profit foundations, and registered charities. Beyond implementing our team’s investment process and philosophies, Mark uses his lens as a CPA to ensure appropriate tax considerations are being made with all of our investment solutions.

In his spare time, Mark can be found out in nature taking wilderness photos, behind the wheel of a racecar, or travelling the world with his wife Samantha.

Andy Yu

Investment Advisor

From graduation, Andy’s career has continually been in the financial planning and investment industry. Born and raised in Vancouver, he is a true local. Andy Graduated from UBC in Finance and has attained his CIM designation. Andy has been a feature columnist for Business In Vancouver and Vancouver Courier on investment strategies. In his last role with BMO, Andy was a financial planner that specialized with self-employed business owners – working with BMO’s commercial teams. On the personal side, he is an avid collector of fine wine, Lego, and sports memorabilia.

Andrew Dick

Investment Advisor

Andrew was born and raised in the lower mainland and has enjoyed volunteering with various organizations and community groups over the years. He embarked on a career in banking straight out of high school, in 1997. Over the years, various bank positions gave Andrew the opportunity to develop well rounded financial knowledge and gain client experiences that he brings with him into his current wealth planning role. Andrew’s mission is to continue fostering long-term relationships with his clients and their families by providing them with sound and trusted advice. When he is not working, Andrew focuses on spending quality time with his wife and kids. He enjoys staying active by participating in soccer, hockey and beach volleyball. He can also be found golfing or hiking our beautiful province when he's not out exploring the world and indulging his love of travel.

Bevan Chin

Associate Portfolio Manager

Bevan was born in Trinidad and moved to Vancouver in his teens. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in many different areas of the banking and securities industry. Most recently, he’s moved away from his role as Branch Compliance Specialist and joined Philip and the team in North Vancouver. Over the last two decades with BMO Nesbitt Burns, Bevan has a vast knowledge base, having worked with many different departments over the years. He has previously worked with investment advisors, their teams and branch management having roles in compliance, supervision, trading and trust services.
When he’s not in the office, Bevan can often be found getting his daughter to her many ballet classes and competitions, cooking up a gourmet meal at home or enjoying his favourite music.

Robyn Zeller

Wealth Associate

Robyn joined the team in 2013, and became an Associate Investment Advisor in 2018. Prior to this, Robyn began her career with BMO in 2007 where she held various roles within the bank. She was an Assistant Branch Manager for both Customer Service and Operational Effectiveness and was a Financial Service Manager dealing with Estate accounts and loan applications for clients.

Robyn’s role is to meet with our existing clients to complete account reviews. This includes tactical shifts in investments and implementing efficient tax strategies for both Registered and Non-registered accounts. Robyn also works in-depth with clients to build Retirement plans through our financial planning software that align with their goals.

Robyn manages operations within the team, working to support and improve the communication and collaboration between all members of our team. This allows us to operate effectively and maintain a consistent service level with all of our clients.

In her spare time, Robyn and her husband Brian keep busy with their two sons, Oliver and Bennett.

Lauren Maxwell

Business Associate (Senior)

Lauren was born in Vancouver and now calls Port Moody home. She started with Nesbitt Burns in 2015 and moved her office to the North Shore a few years later to join Philip and his team. Her previous role as Senior Administrative Assistant to the branch's leadership team gave her the opportunity to execute numerous projects of all kinds for one of Canada's largest branches. With a background in Counselling Psychology and Education, she enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues. She takes pride in making the financial journey as stress free as possible and is always looking for opportunities to grow and learn within the industry. Outside of the office, Lauren can be found taking dance classes of all kinds and enjoying Vancouver's exciting food scene.

Carie Mak

Client Service Associate

Carie joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2015 after extensive banking experiences serving as a Financial Services Manager, and subsequently as an Assistant Branch Manager, with the Bank of Montreal.

Located in the Vancouver Downtown office, Carie’s primary responsibilities include administering new account registrations, processing trade orders, managing RRSP/TFSA/RESP contributions, and providing advice and guidance on tax related inquiries. Carie’s previous experience in the banking industry enables her to apply an integrated and personalized approach when providing financial strategies to clients.

Outside of work, Carie enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jacky and their son Connor. Her interests include traveling, cooking and trying out different restaurants.

Graziella Bottone

Client Service Assistant

Graziella joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017. Prior to this, she was a Senior Customer Service Representative for BMO and brings with her a comprehensive knowledge of BMO’s banking system and procedures.

Located at our Kerrisdale office, Graziella’s main role is to provide client and administrative support. This includes managing the team’s calendar and scheduling client meetings. Graziella also leads meeting preparation, ensuring that all documentation and information are prepared for client meetings. Graziella also assists our clients with their day-to-day banking needs, as well as processing investment contributions and navigating the online banking system.

When not in the office, Graziella enjoys cooking and travelling with her husband Vincenzo.
