Mathieu has been with BMO since 2017 and started his career in Toronto where he was working in BMO Global Asset Management’s flagship Exchange-Trade Funds (ETF) investment team helping to manage over $68 billion of assets under management. Mathieu holds a Master’s in Financial Economics from Western University and has completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, which is known as the industry gold standard in portfolio management.

Ross has been working with BMO Nesbitt Burns for over 40 years, managing discretionary accounts for most of that time, including several US resident accounts. He holds an MBA in finance from Saint Mary's University with Undergraduate in Sciences. He holds several industry related certifications and is also a part time lecturer at Saint Mary's University.

Gail De Adder

Gail has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 20 years.  She holds a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Mount Allison University and a diploma in Investment Management with distinction.  Gail has worked with Ross for 20 years. Gail has also earned the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook designations. 

Brodie Taylor, CPA, CA, CFP

Director, Tax Planning

Brodie focuses exclusively on providing tax planning support and strategies to business owners and high-net worth (HNW) families. Brodie is an experienced Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) who previously worked as a Wealth Planning Consultant for BMO in St. John’s. Previously, Brodie worked  at the accounting firm Grant Thornton, where he provided a wide range of tax services, including assistance with corporate reorganizations, acquisition planning, and tax, estate and succession planning to many HNW families, private companies and their owners.

Mathieu Lefebvre, CPA, CA, CF

VP, Business Advisory & Succession Planning

Prior to joining BMO Wealth Management in 2018, Mathieu has over 10 years of experience with national and Big 4 accounting firms. Working within the M&A Transaction services Group, he advised private company owners across multiple industries, with business enterprise values ranging from $3 million to +$100 million on all aspects of the M&A transaction process, from the initial analysis of financial and operational performance to the closing of the transaction (i.e. divestitures, acquisitions, due diligence, projections/financial modeling, and business valuations). Other areas of experience include corporate restructuring and insolvency, financing, and corporate audits.

 

Ryan Gillcash, MBA

Ryan specializes in developing unique and creative lending solutions to help clients meet their financial objectives and achieve successful outcomes. Ryan’s career began in accounting while pursuing a CMA designation by industry and later turned to banking and started a career with BMO in 2012 in a relationship management capacity. His experience at BMO includes progressive roles in relationship management. Ryan is backed by a fiercely local team based in Atlantic Canada. The team believes  partnerships are important and that the choice of bank can be one of the most consequential a business owner can make.  As partners, Ryan and his team help clients manage the challenges and opportunities at every stage: building, growing, stabilizing, expanding, or selling a business. Wanda MacKay, TEP

Senior Trust Officer

Wanda MacKay has over two decades of experience working in the financial services industry and specializes in Estate & Trust services. Wanda’s role as a Senior Trust Officer includes administering estates and trusts within Atlantic Canada. In addition, she works with BMO Financial group clients, in conjunction with their professional legal and tax advisors, to develop customized estate plans. Wanda knows how to navigate the nuances and complexities of wealth management so that clients can have the confidence that their goals are within reach.

Tim Brown, CFP, CLU, TEP

Director, Wealth Planning

As a member of the BMO High Net Worth Wealth Planning team, Tim brings together the knowledge and experience of our in-house tax and estate professionals and works with BMO Wealth Professionals and their clients to develop sound wealth management plans. Drawing on his diverse financial planning background, Tim uses his knowledge and expertise to provide strategies and support to serve the increasingly complex demands of successful clients. He is involved in the end-to-end wealth planning process to optimize all aspects of managing, preserving, enhancing, and transferring wealth.

Andrée Godbout, LL.B., LL.M., TEP, CFP

Director, Estate Planning

Andrée advises high net worth individuals, professionals and entrepreneurs on specialized estate and trust solutions, as part of an integrated wealth planning team. In addition to having earned her TEP and CFP designations, Andrée’s background includes private practice as a lawyer, and 8 years at another major financial institution as a Trusts and Estates Consultant. She was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2006, and the Nova Scotia bar in 2008. In addition, she is Past Chair of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners` Atlantic Branch, and Past Chair of the Halifax Estate Planning Council.
