With 25 years of investment industry experience and a passion for transforming people’s relationships with their money, Lori is dedicated to delivering expert wealth management advice and knowledge throughout the South Okanagan Valley. Her personalized approach helps clients to find balance in their everyday lives.
Lori is committed to ongoing professional development to hone her comprehensive expertise in wealth management and financial planning. Her credentials include the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®) designations; a Certificate in Advanced Investment Advice from the Canadian Securities Institute; and a Life Insurance License from BMO Private Wealth Insurance Services. In addition, Lori is currently a Level I candidate to obtain the highest distinction in the investment management profession: the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.
Prior to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2017, Lori was a Financial Planner at RBC, an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities and an Associate at CIBC Wood Gundy/Merrill Lynch. She attended Okanagan College, where she focused on Psychology, Business and Accounting.
Lori’s commitment to her community has had a deep and influential impact. Forging paths to genuinely make a difference in the South Okanagan regions, from Kelowna to Osoyoos, Lori has held leadership roles to support many community initiatives and social advocacy causes too numerous to mention. A life-long resident of the South Okanagan, Lori has raised three wonderful children while building a successful career. She values time spent with her family and friends. For fun, Lori stays fit and healthy at her local crossfit centre and gym, and spends the warmer months motorcycling throughout the Pacific Northwest. Year-round, she loves backcountry hikes (she completed the West Coast trail in 2019) and cross-country skiing in beautiful BC. Highlights of her travels have included motorcycling through Vietnam and kayaking in the San Juan Islands. Lori also enjoys exploring local history and genealogy.

With over 18 years of experience, focus, efficiency, accuracy, a respect for detail, and a fierce commitment to excellent client service, Kim maintains our accounts, keeps up with documentation, deposit requests and completes tax reporting inquiries . In short, she is Lori Gordon’s right hand.
When Kim is not hard at work keeping our team organized, she enjoys spending time with family, mastering her pottery and creating culinary masterpieces.
