With over fifteen years of experience specializing in providing investment advisory and financial planning services to high net worth physicians and their families, Gurpreet Sohi joined BMO Private Wealth in 2019. Working closely with a network of BMO specialists, he delivers highly customized investment strategies to help physicians, specialists, residents and other healthcare practitioners reach their goals and make wise financial decisions regarding their medical practice at every stage of their careers. Prior to joining BMO Private Wealth, Gurpreet worked with MD Financial, a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Association.

As a Portfolio Manager, Gurpreet is qualified to perform discretionary wealth management, which frees busy doctors from the pressures of making investment decisions and brings several other advantages. Gurpreet holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he later became an instructor on Strategic Change within the school of business.

In 2022, Gurpreet was recognized as one of the Top 40 Investment Advisors under the age of 40 in Canada across all investment firms.
