Portfolio Manager, Senior Investment Advisor

James began his career in 1997 upon graduating from Western University. As a portfolio manager, James manages investment portfolios with discretion guided by his fiduciary duty to his clients. James values the high degree of trust and confidence his clients place in him; He is committed to ongoing monitoring and review of his clients’ portfolios and objectives, guiding them through the entire wealth planning process.


In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his wife Nadia and their three children. James is currently the president of Toronto Marlboro Hockey Organization, overseeing one of the most storied franchises in minor hockey. In the summertime he enjoys golfing and spending time with family on Georgian Bay.
 

Rebecca MacEwen

Client Service Assistant

Rebecca began her career with BMO Bank of Montreal in 2015 and has experience related to Personal and Commercial banking. She is a graduate of Seneca College’s Tourism and Travel – Flight Services Program with a focus on Customer Service and Aviation. Her program helped prepare her to provide exceptional customer service with a service-driven attitude and problem solving skills.  Rebecca is responsible for client related requests and inquiries, along with daily administrative support for the team.


Rebecca enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, traveling, and attending food and music festivals.

Julia Kavanagh

Client Service Assistant

Julia began her career as a Financial Analyst in 2022. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and minor in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. She also holds her Canadian Securities Course (“CSC”) and Conduct Practices Handbook (“CPH”) designations issued by the Canadian Securities Institute.

Julia will be managing client requests, developing financial plans and executing trades.


In her spare time she enjoys running, spending time with family and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs.
