With over 25 years of experience, Michelle Crouse is known for her energetic, client-focused approach and deep commitment to her clients’ success. As co-lead of the Isner Crouse Wealth Advisory Group, Michelle partners with Naomi Isner to deliver thoughtful, personalized wealth strategies.

Michelle began her career with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1996, following roles in commercial lending and earning her Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. She is a passionate advocate for women’s financial empowerment and has been featured in Women of Influence and BMO for Women initiatives.

A dedicated community leader, Michelle is the founder of the Isner Crouse Business Award at NSCC and has served as Co-chair of the NSCC Lunenburg Campus Make Way Campaign. She is a former Chair of the Bridgewater Development Association and the Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor Advisory Council (IAAC).

Michelle and her husband Rick enjoy life on the South Shore, spending time with their three adult children and three grandchildren. She supports several local charities, loves to travel, and can often be found at the gym or relaxing by the ocean.

Naomi Isner, CIM®

Naomi Isner is known for her warm, approachable nature and genuine care for her clients. With decades of experience, she excels at building strong, lasting relationships and guiding clients through life’s transitions with empathy and expertise.

As a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and licensed Portfolio Manager, Naomi provides discretionary portfolio management, reflecting her commitment to ethical standards and advanced investment knowledge. She is deeply passionate about personal development and lifelong learning, continually pursuing new educational opportunities to better serve her clients.

Naomi’s collaborative approach ensures clients feel informed and empowered, and she works closely with their advisory teams to deliver thoughtful, personalized solutions. Originally from BC, Naomi began her financial services career in 1989 and joined BMO Private Wealth in 2018, partnering with Michelle to form the Isner Crouse Wealth Advisory Group. She holds a Finance diploma from BCIT, specializing in Economics and Accounting, and has completed the Qualified Associate Financial Planner designation.

Dedicated to giving back, Naomi supports local and national organizations and is a regular blood donor. Outside the office, she enjoys skiing and water sports with her son, gardening, and working on projects with her entrepreneur partner Joey—whether outdoors on their property or cooking together.

Emily MacKay, CIM®, CFP®

Senior Wealth Associate and Financial Planner

For more than 15 years, Emily has guided clients through the complexities of wealth management, transforming uncertainty into clear, actionable strategies. Her planning-first approach is rooted in thoughtful discovery, candid advice, and ongoing accountability— empowering clients to make confident decisions and achieve meaningful progress toward their goals.

Emily holds both the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®) and CIM® (Chartered Investment Manager) designations, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence. She combines deep financial planning expertise with investment insight to deliver integrated solutions across saving, investing, tax efficiency, and retirement readiness. Her goal is to simplify the process, so clients feel informed and supported every step of the way. Clients appreciate Emily’s ability to break down complex decisions into manageable next steps— whether it’s building a new plan, optimizing contributions, or coordinating with other professionals—ensuring the right actions happen at the right time.

Emily and her spouse live in Lunenburg County with their dogs and cats. Outside the office, she enjoys training her dogs and exploring the beaches and trails of Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Fun fact: Emily is a scuba diver, always ready for her next underwater adventure.

Beth Cody

Client Service Assistant

Beth brings more than five years of experience in the financial services industry, along with a deep commitment to exceptional client service. Born and raised in Lunenburg, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland before venturing to British Columbia, where she coached curling and worked in advertising.

After returning to the South Shore, Beth met her spouse and later welcomed their son, Lennon. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the beautiful coastline of Nova Scotia.
