I joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1998, have been a Portfolio Manager since 1992, and have been working in the investment industry since 1987. I’m passionate about everything I do, which is immediately apparent to my clients by the level of dedication we apply to managing their portfolios.
I hold a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, am a Canadian Investment Manager, and a Life Insurance Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns Financial Services Inc.
I grew up in Oakville, Ontario where I graduated High School out of Appleby College and have spent over 50 years in the community dedicating a large amount of my spare time in a variety of community outreach services to help those in need. My wife Heather and I have 5 grown children. With our spare time, Heather and I enjoy golfing, hiking and are avid sports enthusiasts.
Max joined BMO Nesbitt Burns and the Geoff Marshall Wealth Management Group in 2018 after building his advisory practice in Etobicoke since 2012. As a Portfolio Manager and a Life Insurance Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns Financial Services Inc., Max sits on our Investment Policy Committee, specializes in portfolio management, and financial planning. He has a relentless focus on the holistic wealth management approach and deeply serving his clients.
Max graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College, while competing on a golf scholarship. Max grew up in Etobicoke where he currently resides with his wife Mary, and daughter Annabelle. When not in the office, he enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family, and being involved in the community.
Sarah joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2007 after 7 years with BMO. As a valued member of the team, Sarah provides an instrumental service in assisting and navigating client requests. Sarah has an outstanding reputation for attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to our clients.
Sarah graduated from York University with a bachelor of Fine Arts. She spends her spare time with her daughter Kyall and her focus on fitness is one of her many joys.
Marc joined BMO Nesbitt Burns and the Geoff Marshall Wealth Management Group in 2023 after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics. Marc’s passion for mathematics and finance are key tools for his role assisting our team with portfolio management and analysis, financial planning, and helping our clients reach their financial goals. Marc's currently enrolled in the CFA program and has been tremendously helpful in his role with us.
Marc grew up in Trinidad and came to Canada after receiving a national Mathematics scholarship to attend the University of Waterloo. In his spare time, he enjoys a variety of racquet sports, staying fit in the gym, and spending time with his friends.
Tristen joined BMO Nesbitt Burns and the Geoff Marshall Wealth Management Group in 2023 as an administrative and executive assistant to support our clients and our team. Tristen brings tremendous customer service experience working in fast-pace and demanding environments, and has a strong attention to detail that our clients enjoy. She is outgoing and has a can-do attitude that is evident as soon as you speak with her.
Tristen grew up in Etobicoke, and graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Political Science. She has traveled extensively, spends her free time camping, attending concerts, and playing a variety of sports.
