George Trapkov, CFA

George has over 15 years of experience in the investment industry and is a registered Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for generating actionable Canadian and global stock ideas; working with Advisors to help customize client portfolios and participating in the management of the Guided Portfolios.
He was most recently a Research Analyst with a Canadian small/mid cap broker where he was responsible for coverage of Industrials and special situations.
Prior to that, George was a Portfolio Manager with a mid-size Canadian asset manager where he was responsible for coverage of North American securities in balanced and dividend mandates. George is a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of York University.
Danny Guarnieri, CPA, CA
Director, Wealth Planning
Danny offers personalized wealth management advice to high-net-worth BMO clients. He identifies each client’s needs and objectives and determines their financial position in order to develop a comprehensive plan that simplifies complex matters such as financial, tax, estate and business succession planning. In addition, Danny draws on his extensive experience in a private practice to develop quality plans and educate clients on the risks and opportunities inherent in these plans.
Danny joined BMO Wealth Management in 2017. He began his career in 2006 with the international accounting firm Deloitte, where he gained significant experience auditing large public and private corporations. After completing a master’s degree in taxation in 2013, he joined Deloitte’s tax services where he specialized in tax planning and compliance for public and private corporations. In 2015, Danny joined the tax department of Richter LLP, where he developed his knowledge of tax planning and restructuring for private corporations and business owners.

As a Tax lawyer and financial planner, Zeina advises high net worth families, professionals and entrepreneurs on specialized wealth planning solutions. Whether it’s thought leadership on estate planning, new family wealth, tax planning, or philanthropy, Zeina is dedicated to simplifying complex issues and providing practical and informed strategies. Zeina joined BMO in 2011 after several years as a tax lawyer in private practice. She was called to the Quebec Bar in 2001.
Chantal Moreau, D.D.N.
Director, Estate Planning
Chantal is a member of the BMO Wealth Management team as a Director, Estate Planning. Chantal assists high-net-worth clients in developing their customized estate plans. Chantal helps to ensure that the legal documents her clients put in place reflect their reality, their needs, and their objectives while maximizing their estate value and asset protection.
Chantal is a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec. Prior to joining the BMO Private Wealth planning team, Chantal gained hands-on experience in the administration of estates, trusts, and protection regimes with BMO Trust Company. Previously, Chantal worked as a notary in a private practice where she also settled estates and worked on non-contentious legal proceedings. This experience gave her a practical perspective on estate planning and equipped her to anticipate possible issues and propose effective solutions.
Chantal holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a Graduate Diploma in Notarial Law (D.D.N.) from Université de Sherbrooke. She is currently completing a specialization program in order to earn the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation.

With her knowledge of taxation and legal matters acquired in financial institutions and in private practice, she offers clients leading expertise and sound advice to assist them in their personal and corporate planning. Karine excels in the art of providing appropriate solutions to issues involving wealth management, tax and estate planning, philanthropy and new wealth.
Karine has more than 13 years of experience in legal practice and taxation. Throughout her career, she has held various positions of increasing responsibility in tax and estate planning. She has worked for both law firms and an accounting firm, handling tax issues for entrepreneurs, corporations and wealthy families. She has worked with investment firms, supporting financial services advisors, their clients, and the professionals who work with them.
She has acted in many tax planning cases involving individuals, estates and corporations. She has published numerous articles on taxation and participated in several media initiatives.
Karine is involved with several charitable organizations and the Fondation HEC Montréal to mobilize graduates around the institution’s projects. She participates in various committees of the APFF, an organization dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and the improvement of its members’ tax skills.

The integrated services team serves the wealth professionals throughout BMO Private Wealth by providing solutions to their Ultra High Net Worth individuals, businesses, and family offices to support their financial planning, tax & estate, investment, legacy, philanthropic, and risk & capital needs.
Arthur has over a decade of experience in the investment industry across all asset classes. As BMO’s Head of Alternative research, he is responsible for providing insight, support and research on the alternative asset class. These responsibilities include alternative portfolio construction for UHNW clients, maintenance of the recommended list and product shelf.
Prior to BMO, Arthur spent over 7 years of his career in a client facing & portfolio management role at another major financial institution. As a result, Arthur has a unique understanding of how alternatives are designed to fit within a broader portfolio to minimize risk and maximize return.
