Adam Knight, B.Comm., LL.B

Senior Investment Advisor

Adam has been an Investment Advisor with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 1994. He is a graduate of both McGill University (Bachelor of Commerce) and Osgoode Hall Law School (Bachelor of Laws).  Adam was called to the bar of Upper Canada in 1993 and practiced corporate and commercial litigation at a small Toronto law firm up until joining BMO Nesbitt Burns. He has taken many industry-related courses as part of his on-going education, including Professional Financial Planning Course, Canadian Options Course and Life-Insurance Licensing.

Outside of the office, he and his wife Hilary enjoy travelling, spending time with their two adult children and taking their family dog, Zoe, on long walks on the beach.

Adam currently accepts new clients on a referral basis only from his network of accountants, attorneys and other professionals as well as his existing clients.

Sean Gligor

Senior Investment Associate

Sean first joined Nesbitt Burns as an Associate Investment Advisor with The Knight Investment Group in July of 2006. He holds an Economics Degree from the University of Waterloo and is continuously expanding his education through the completion of industry courses offered through the Canadian Securities Institute. Sean currently holds the CIM (Chartered Investment Manager) and PFP (Personal Financial Planner) designations.

Sean is Adam's primary client liaison with respect to portfolio construction and management, account and performance reviews and the modelling and presentation of comprehensive financial/retirement plans. Sean's work often extends beyond traditional investment advice, working closely with our partners in the firm and leveraging in-house resources to assist clients with estate and insurance planning and taxation issues.  

Outside of the office, Sean stays active by golfing in the summer and skiing with his two young girls in the winter. Sean organizes the annual branch golf tournament which raises money for various local charities.

Claudia Lema

Associate (Senior)

Claudia has worked at BMO Nesbitt Burns for 14 years and has a wonderful reputation for fostering solid client relationships. She will assist clients with all administrative matters including tax reports and inquiries, general account inquiries and trading.
 
Claudia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from PUCP (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) and has completed relevant industry courses including the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, Canadian Investment Funds Course.
 
In her free time Claudia enjoys working out, going for long nature walks and bike rides and spending time with her family.
