Anna Maria joined the Toronto Midtown Branch as the Operations Manager in December 2020. Previous to joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, she spent 9 years working at one of Canada’s oldest independent brokerage firms. She most recently served as an executive of the firm, in the capacity of Sr. Vice President. She has over 20 years experience in banking, finance, and wealth management. Her work experience spans across various companies and business units including privately owned investment firms, publicly traded financial institutions, banks, and the Federal Government of Canada. Her roles are extensive ranging from back office to front entry level to executive.
Outside of the office, Anna Maria enjoys the arts. Her hobbies include improv and comedic writing (Second City - Toronto). She is a passionate supporter of many charities. She has been a supporter of the Toronto International Film Festival for over a decade. She has volunteered at the Daily Bread Food Bank (Toronto) as well as The United Way. She has also help raise funds for The Red Door and various other organizations.
