Since 2014, Amanda has been an Investment Advisor with The Hansford Group where she focuses on helping clients optimize their wealth through a variety of strategies, including investment management, tax planning, estate planning, and cash flow planning. Known for her collaborative and personalized approach, Amanda makes listening to her clients a priority so she can understand their goals and provide financial advice tailored to their needs. By answering questions and offering honest, practical guidance, she builds long-term relationships designed to endure through life’s transitions.
Having lived in Stratford for most of her life, Amanda has strong connections to the community and is a staunch supporter of local initiatives and organizations, including the Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation and many local sports organizations. She has also served as President of the Rotaract Club and on the board of United Way Perth-Huron.
Outside of work, Amanda is happiest spending time with her husband, two daughters, family and friends, especially when travel, good food or a little friendly competition are involved. She loves to cook and bake, golf whenever she gets the chance, and completed her first marathon in Chicago in 2025. Volleyball has always been a favourite, and while being vertically challenged may have kept her from more competitive aspirations, she still gets her fix playing in two local leagues. She’s also working hard on her pickleball game because, as she likes to say, it’s never too early to prepare for retirement!
