Andrew McManus, CIM, FCSI, PFP

Senior Portfolio Manager & Senior Investment Advisor

"It’s not just about money……..it’s about peace of mind, choice and independence”

Andrew has been in the Financial industry since the early 90’s.  BMO Nesbitt Burns has been home for the last 25+ years.    His background in both Economics and retail side of the business has given him a clearer sense of the financial markets.   Discretionary Management has been a big key to success for the MMB Wealth Advisory group.  Being nimble and decisive are very important in this ever-changing environment.

Father of two amazing daughters, Andrew has been very involved in their lives. "If I survived teaching them how to drive, I can survive anything."  In the winter, Andrew likes to ski downhill and cross country and, in the summers, golf and tennis.  If you ask him if he's any good, he will let you know that Tiger Woods and Roger Federer have never beaten him.

Drew McIntosh, CIM, BBA

Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor

“Generating quality relationships is my greatest satisfaction; really listening to what clients want from their life and delivering a strategy that’s practical and achievable.”

Drew’s career in the Financial Industry began in the early 90’s. His background on both the manufacturing and retail side of the business has made him a well-rounded Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager, and a key figure in building the comprehensive wealth management practice that MMB Wealth Advisory is today.

As a father of four, Drew is very involved in the lives of his children. Coaching minor hockey and playing in a men’s league keep him active during the long Alberta winters. A regular at the gym, he maintains weight lifting is responsible for his youthful looks and while he calls himself an amateur sketch artist, he admits his first career choice was animation. Best of all, as a former competitive bagpiper, his claim to fame was playing on stage with Sir Paul McCartney.

Christopher Burns, CIM

Associate Portfolio Manager

“I find it enormously gratifying when clients seek out my advice when they need to make real world decisions that will impact their lives and those of their loved ones. This is both an honour and a tremendous responsibility.”

Chris has worked in the financial industry for 25 years. Initially, his focus was on helping corporate clients get more out of the banking system. However, he derives far more satisfaction providing clients and their families with reliable investment management and financial advice. To that end, Chris became a Discretionary Portfolio Manager because he truly believes that this is the best option for Canadians looking to grow their wealth.

Chris and his wife Janet are parents to an amazing daughter Mhairi. Together with their dog Shilo, they like to spend time at their cabin in the Ghost River Valley where they enjoy cooking, reading, having campfires and spending time with friends.

Ben’s focus has been around constructing portfolios that compliment his clients through the various stages in life. Strong performance starts with getting the easy things rights, and using that belief as a foundation for performance in a variety of market conditions.
