Our Team

Tom started with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1994 and has his Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation. He has since added a Professional Financial Planner (PFP) to his credentials. Tom is life insurance licensed and works closely with BMO Estate Insurance Advisory Services Inc and is able to offer Options trading to his clients. He's is a graduate of Lakehead University (BSc 1986).

Tom is actively involved with the Kiwanis Club of Thunder Bay.  In 2001 he was recognized by the Province of Ontario for his volunteer activities and in 2009 City Council awarded Tom the Spirit of Thunder Bay Award.  Tom also enjoys several outdoor activities and traveling with his wife and two children.

Tom takes an active role in his clients financial well-being using a wealth advisory approach. He goes beyond investment advice to discuss financial planning, protection of their lifestyle, creating a legacy and the myriad of family issues that often arise. Tom becomes a "family advisor” for his clients, their parents, children or other family members or close friends.

Garth is a lifelong resident of Thunder bay.  He started in the Investment Industry in 1996 and has been with BMO Nesbitt Burns since 1997.

In this time, Garth has advised his clients through challenging markets as well as good markets.  He has assisted individual, corporate and not-for-profit clients with a full range of investment strategies.  This would include using individual fixed income and equity securities as well as managed portfolios, dependant upon the needs of the clients.  Garth is life insurance licenced and works closely with BMO Estate Insurance Advisory Services Inc.

He believes identifying client needs and communication are the cornerstone of a productive client/advisor relationship.

Garth is involved with several local charities as a volunteer and as an organizer.

Currently he coaches high school senior football and also served as Football Sport Chair for Superior Secondary Schools Athletic Association.

Nancy has her degree from Lakehead University and has over 25 years in the financial services industry.  Her knowledge and experience gives her a leading edge in providing outstanding service.  Nancy is responsible for the daily administration of all our client's accounts.  Nancy is a soccer mom of three girls, and loves spending time at camp and travelling.
