She coordinates her households’ complex, multidisciplinary financial matters with thoughtful service touchpoints, integrity, and authentic engagement. Halley prizes her wonderful clients who trust her implicitly. Her practice has grown thanks to their referrals to friends and loved ones.
Halley has enhanced her tax-planning skills through the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) designation, accountancy studies at University of British Columbia, and tax-planning courses with the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). She holds a certificate in Advanced Investment Advice and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) Designation, demonstrating her commitment to certification as a Portfolio Manager. An avid lover of travel and languages, Halley is also fluent in French.
Halley was drawn to a financial career by her interest in numbers and soon discovered her real passion was working with people. She began as a premier sales representative at a top North American mutual fund company. Experience in one of Canada's top banking institutions and a private equity firm gave her insight into wealth management from every perspective. As the eldest child whose sister has a disability, Halley was trained early on to look after people. She is especially skilled at guiding clients through financial restructuring to establish robust wealth practices and frameworks.
Halley and her husband have a daughter studying commerce at Queen’s University. Athletic and driven, Halley has completed the New York, Boston, Chicago, London, Berlin and Tokyo marathons earning her Abbott 6 star World Marathon Major medal and joining an elite group of 926 Canadians in the six star hall of fame. At the Rosedale Golf Club, she is a former Club Champion and has served as Captain of the Women’s League, which encourages women to embrace competition. Halley loved golf from a young age and has a single-digit handicap. She also loves skiing, particularly on Whistler’s challenging terrain. When she craves a quieter day, Halley enjoys the meditative precision of quilting and formerly belonged to the York Heritage Quilters Guild.
