David joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1991 and is the founder of The Cimpello Wealth Advisory Group, BMO Nesbitt Burns. David earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Ottawa Society of Chartered Financial Analysts.
Through a comprehensive discussion with clients, the creation of a Wealth Plan and a collaborative analysis with experts, David and the team explore each client’s unique circumstance and provide solutions to build their wealth, protect their desired lifestyle and leave a lasting legacy.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his wife Jaime, his children Thomas and Annabelle, and recent addition to the family, fur-child, Lady. David is an avid golfer, and enjoys playing hockey during the winter months, but his favourite thing to do is hang out on a beach by the ocean.

Roy joined The Cimpello Wealth Advisory Group, BMO Nesbitt Burns in January 2001, bringing with him more than eleven years of experience in the financial services industry. Roy has earned the title of Associate Wealth Advisor and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® designation.
As part of the Cimpello Wealth Advisory Group, Roy’s goal is to help our high-net worth clients proactively strategize for the future through comprehensive, personalized and coordinated Wealth Plans. He collaborates with the client, his team and an integrated team of professionals to deliver an unparalleled, holistic wealth management experience.
In his free time, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife Jonna and their 3 kids, Marcus, Isabelle and James as they are active in many sporting events including hockey, skiing, swimming and soccer. As a family, they also enjoy spending time with friends and traveling together.
Jessica McCoy (Canonico), CFP
Associate Investment Advisor
Jessica has been a member of The Cimpello Wealth Advisory Group since November 2005 but joined BMO Nesbitt Burns as a fresh university graduate in January 2004. In her first year at BMO Nesbitt Burns, Jessica successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course and the Professional Financial Planning Course. In 2006, she obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and in 2007, earned the title of Associate Investment Advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns.
Jessica works closely with David and Roy throughout the wealth planning process; she facilitates the communication of this plan and its subsequent client-specific solution. She offers proactive client service while also having the expertise to address investment-related questions.
Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Sean and their son Aidan. She can be found cheering Aidan on in the hockey rinks during the winter and on the soccer fields in the summer. She enjoys traveling, baking and hanging out with friends during her spare time.
Estate and Insurance Advisor, Senior Vice President
With over 20 years in the estate planning and insurance industry, Phil has been with BMO Estate Insurance Advisory Services since 1998. Phil provides comprehensive advice for personal estate, corporate estate, insurance and retirement needs. Areas of expertise include estate creation and preservation techniques and corporate financial security planning, all with an emphasis on elimination of taxes. By collaborating with Investment Advisors, Phil facilitates the planning process and coordinates clients' other Advisors, including lawyers and accountants.
In addition to his advisory role, Phil plays a key role on the division’s management team as an ambassador for Estate and Insurance Advisors across Canada. In this position, Phil leverages his experience as a top performing advisor to create opportunities and tools that will help Estate and Insurance Advisors in becoming successful advisors and leaders in their field.
