Our Team

Danny Costa is a passionate financial-services veteran who has dedicated his career to assisting clients reach their financial objectives. He manages this by integrating innovative wealth planning principles coupled with risk/return analysis, and evolving portfolio management strategies. Danny believes in harnessing the expertise of BMO, his team and himself to deliver a personalized and holistic wealth creation approach to all clients. 
 
Danny has been in the financial industry for over 25 years. He joined BMO in 1997, transitioning from Capital Markets to Wealth Management in 2011. He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and continued his education at Rotman School of Management where he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Danny also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). 
 
Danny lives in Oakville with his wife and their two daughters. Danny and his wife have a disciplined morning routine spending time together at the gym. In his spare time, he enjoys biking and spending time with his family. 

Omar joined BMO Financial Group in 2006 and has held different positions with the bank ranging from Financial Service Manager to Investment Solution Specialist.  He was most recently a Financial Planner Retirement and Investment Planner at Oakville Place.

Since becoming a Financial Planner in 2009, Omar has served a wide range of clients with a variety of financial planning needs and has earned BMO’s Best of the Best award. Omar holds his CFA designation through the CFA institute, as well as his CFP and CIM designations.

Upon graduating from York University with an honors degree, Layal began to develop an interest in the financial service industry and became our newest team member in 2021. Layal’s commitment to customer satisfaction and great attention to detail is what has helped her achieve such great success in such a fast-paced environment.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling and relaxing. Layal is currently working towards her CSI designation and hopes to be licensed by the end of 2024.
