As an alternative to EFTs, you can transfer money from bank account to investment account by bill payment in online banking

Using your online banking website/app navigate to the “Add a Payee” tab in the Bill Payments section and select one of the following:

  • BMO Nesbitt Burns Deposits and Regular Contributions
    • For all deposits and contributions EXCLUDING spousal RRSP contributions
  • BMO Nesbitt Burns Spousal Contributions
    • ONLY for spousal RRSP contributions

Type in the full 10 digit account number for the Nesbitt Burns Investment account.

To make a transfer, select “Pay a bill”, select your BMO investment account set up and add amount.
