EFT is a system we use to send money to and from your Nesbitt Burns Investment accounts through your Canadian bank accounts. This allows same day withdrawals* and next day deposits.
To have your Nesbitt Burns investment accounts linked to your bank accounts via EFT, provide us a copy of your bank account’s VOID cheque.
Once set up you can request fund transfers between accounts ad hoc, or ask the team to set up a recurring withdrawal/deposit weekly, biweekly, monthly etc.
Note that the name(s) on the VOID cheque must match at least one of the holders of the investment account.
If the names do not match (or if the investment account is a corporate account), this would be considered a 3rd Party EFT addition, although this can be added to your investment accounts it will require a client signature to authorize. Please contact our team via email for further information.
