As a member of the Wealth Management Consulting team, Rose brings together the knowledge and experience of our in-house tax and estate professionals and works with Investment Advisors and their clients to develop sound wealth management plans.
She provides support and direction about complex issues such as retirement and distribution planning, tax planning, cash management, estate and gift planning, transition planning and charitable giving.
Rose has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns, she has worked for several major investment firms where she provided clients with financial planning and investment counselling advice. Rose holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® or CFP® certificant, and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Major in Accounting degree. Rose is a member of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners

Amal joined BMO Harris Private Banking in January 2002 where she is a senior private banker specializing in relationship management, providing valued personalized financial advice and solutions to the needs of affluent individuals and their families. She is also an integral part of the co-ordination and delivery of financial services to other BMO Financial Group partners.
Prior to joining the Private Bank, Amal gained experience at the Bank of Montreal in roles as an Assistant Manager and Financial Services Manager. She has been in the financial industry for over 20 years.
In 1992 Amal completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Economics from the University of Calgary. She successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Certified Financial Planning Program. Amal is an active volunteer with both the Junior Achievement Program , Economics of Staying in School Program, and the Learning Partnership Entrepreneurial Adventure Program.

Lottie Austin, Senior Vice President, is an Estate and Insurance Advisor with a wealth of insurance and estate planning expertise gained through over 18 years of experience. Lottie has attained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations, which demonstrate her ongoing commitment to education in order to better serve clients. Lottie believes in building trusting relationships with Investment Advisors and their clients and finding customized solutions and strategies which enhance the client's financial position.
Lottie is dedicated to excellence in wealth management and legacy planning. Lottie’s education and experience provides you with a broad range of wealth strategies. Her focus is estate preservation and distribution, tax management and maximizing returns on accumulated assets. Insurance can be utilized to provide tax sheltering and asset allocation. Lottie’s focus is to ensure your objectives are met.
A passionate community contributor, Lottie recently co-chaired a capital campaign for the University of Lethbridge Music Conservatory and will compete in the Honens ProAm piano competition in Calgary in November 2014.

Shawna has been in the Estate and Trust Industry since 2001 and she has administered over 120 Estate, Trust, Power of Attorney and charitable foundation accounts during her career. Through her experience as a corporate Executor and Trustee for high net worth clients she has acquired the expertise to help families effectively plan for the transfer of wealth to the next generation. Shawna holds her MTI designation from the Canadian Securities Institute, she is a member of The Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP), an international professional organization dedicated to promoting financial and estate planning considerations between generations, and is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Council (EPC).
