Graduated with an Honours degree in Economics and Psychology from Middlesex University London, England, Wilkie has been working in the financial industry in Canada since 1988. After working for a major Canadian bank in various capacities in personal and investment banking, Wilkie became an Investment Advisor in 1992 and has since worked for two major bank owned investment firms before joining BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2011. With years of investment industry experience through various capital market cycles, he oversees asset allocation and macro investment strategy planning for his team. His focus on conservative wealth protection and wealth management strategies, including life and disability insurance solutions for high net worth clients has brought him tremendous success as an investment advisor. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, Wilkie has been a weekly financial commentator for AM1470 since 1996 and his audience have come to recognize his voice as a trusted source for market updates.

Having immigrated with her family to Canada from Hong Kong in 1976, Melody attended the University of Alberta where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. Following graduation, Melody moved to Vancouver and began her career in the investment industry becoming an Investment Advisor in 1995. Through years of rigorous training through different market cycles, Melody has accumulated invaluable capital market insights and equities trading techniques. After working for two large major bank own investment firms, Melody joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2011. Melody is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and is mainly responsible for overseeing all investment research and client service for the team. In Melody’s free time, she is a regular market pundit on Radio AM 1470 where she provides both market intelligence and colorful commentary to an extensive and inquisitive audience.
